I have left a comment/question on this channel before but I have a few more things I’d like to ask if that’s okay: 1) what does revert mean? 2) Why do women wear the hijab (I think that’s how you spell it). I know it has to do with modesty but I don’t understand what covering the hair has to do with modesty. Does this also apply to men? (I assume so because Will always wears a baseball hat) 3) what is Ramadan? I hope these questions are not too invasive and comes across as someone who just wants to learn about someone else’s experiences. Have a good day!
Revert means reverting back to the natural way of life as Muslims we believe we are all born Muslim. It’s another way of saying convert to Islam. Women wear hijab as it’s commanded by Allah in the Quran. It’s an act of worship. Men and women both have requirements to cover certain parts of their body. Ramadan is a holy month in which Muslims fast and perform extra prayers

If we look at history, it is full of human cruelity, colonisation and greed, with the Christians and Muslims vying for first place of who did the most harm. However, this family is beautiful, optimistic and full of love. Best to look at them as people wanting to contribute to the total good in the world.

One that I find tragic in that it limits the opportunities for 50% of its population. It is a male dominated misogynist religion, which I find very, very troubling. Okay...so I am a Catholic born and bred and will be until the day I die. I also retired from the United States Marine Corps after 22 years and I did 4 combat tours in Islamic/Muslim countries - 2 in Iraq, 1 in Afghanistan, and 1 in Somalia. I saw some SERIOUS atrocities from these dudes and especially was appalled when they strapped their own children with explosives and used them as human shields. This is why I have an extremely difficult time understanding how anyone could convert to this so-called religion of "peace". A fellow Marine I served with named Sammy was actually a Muslim Saudi naturalized American and we were actually based in his native country while fighting the Iraqi's and he was proud to do it. So please tell me...what are your thoughts on people like me who obviously shed blood over there and obviously follow Christ? I truly DO accept everyone and I would NEVER harm anyone in the name of my God. I anxiously await your answer. Thank you.
Maybe start with questioning why you were in sovereign countries, representing a military of a foreign country, against the will of the govt or the people of that country. A little bit of that might answer some of your questions, if not all.

I have a neighbor in Kuala Lumpur who is Japanese. He has a house in Canada. He goes there in the summer and stays in Malaysia during the winter 🥶
