91% Adobe RGB color space support (which tells you it covers quite more color range than 100% of sRGB, but they made the correct notation... I dislike when companies say "140% sRGB") is pretty good for a laptop, IMO (and even a desktop monitor). I'm still not very happy with OLED's risks, but that's definitely a very good laptop screen. I would try to apply some anti glare filter/film, though. Amazing that the laptop was calibrated with a colorimeter for making this video, gives us the right clues about these devices. Agreeing on the screen size. This would have absolutely rocked as a 16.1 (like my HP Omen). But I doubt that have been 1.7k USD, then. ProArt devices tend to be pricier. Not complaining as they usually pay more attention to color range and screen's quality, overall (in desktop I still prefer Benq, or specially, Eizo, though). Such a pity about the line jitter, though.
60hz is fine for a laptop not aimed at gamers. And gamers are spoiled for denanding every screen runand 120hz plus. The vast majority of people, including gamers, don't notice or care. I'd rather they put that time and effort into other aspects of the laptop. The screen running over 60hz is literally the least important quality wrt a laptop like this.
IMHO I see ppl always complaining about the diagonal lines when you draw slowly, but I have the exact same issue on my iPad Pro M4 and no one complains about it...
I've noticed the same thing about iPad reviews. Mine does the same with diagonals. The only hardware that doesn't have jitter from my daily work is the Galaxy Tab series due to its Wacom tech.
downside on the 16 inch is it cannot fold like the 13 inch...upside is it uses 2280 SSD which means you can have over 2tb.. 13 inch is 2230 which means max is 2tb and more expenive. I am leaning towards the 13 inch myself but i will wait until the 4060 goes on sale.
This has already "officially" (at several ASUS dealers including Amazon) dropped GBP100 in the UK for the RTX4070 version. ASUS is also intensifying recruiting TH-cam influences from third world countries to "review"(i.e. advertise) the product. The product has obviously failed due to the 60hz and other compromises. Expect further price reductions soon. The earlier ASUS refreshes this product with a minimum of 90hz, a decent pen technology, a full SD card and decent battery ... and a GPU that is not 3 years old, the less unsold units they will stockpile. Wait for them to complete this half-baked product or get one a lot cheaper soon.
So many people say not having 60Hz is a deal breaker. You’ve got to ask yourself when is the 60Hz really needed for content creation. If you play games, sure higher Hz is good but the graphics card in this isn’t that good to push it past 60Hz without you dropping resolution way below 1080P. And for those who want 120Hz, ASUS sells laptops with 120Hz
@@teohontech7141100% with you. I’m really tired of the 60hz complaint. As long as everything is a stable 60, it doesn’t really matter. Most apps people use aren’t running at more than 60 fps anyway. And video footage is 24 or 30 fps. I find it the weirdest complaint 😅
half of this is just nitpicking. 3 year old gpu? It's still the most recent entry level card. Full size SD card readers are so rare that asking for it is near pointless. And if theres no variable refresh theres no much reason to have anything higher than 60hz in my opinion. Otherwise youre just cintributing to the bad battery life
Do you think they would actually change the screen refresh rate? Right now its on sale for 1450$, down from 1700. Should I buy it or wait? This comment is convincing me to wait but the sale ends today.

The labelling seems more gimmick than fact, one would assume something labelled "ProArt" would be better.
I don't really pay attention to labels or marketing terms nowadays because many labels have lost their meanings, especially the word "Pro"
@@teohontech7141 Sadly True, buyer beware and don't fall for marketing branding! That's why I watch good reviewers like you.

@@adaml5693 I imagine the battery is similar to my surface studio laptop 😏

Does this have a DP port. I no longer use HDMI.

S9 FE, xiaomi pad 6s pro with Focus Pen. Or Samsung S7 FE with 6GB RAM
Wohoooo first comment!
$1700 USD? I'll watch the rest of the video so you get the views but this isn't even an option. There are so many better options for less.
I don’t really follow laptop releases which is why my reviews don’t usually compare with other laptops
