Fallout's got a real "raider" problem in recent games, and I'm not talking about bandits... At least Nuka World seemed to be a step in the right direction that I'm sure will be forgotten when/if we ever see another game. >__>
@@planescaped I mean, all of 76’s raider groups are named. From the Cutthroats to the Blood Eagles. So we’ll probably see more in Fallout 5 or whatever the next game is labeled as.
@@Falloutlover1011 Thing is, it's not just name. It's about raiders being actual factions with distinct culture, equipment derived from their position in the world, their own goals and motivations. That doesn't require them being joinable, or even being able to talk to them and get quests of any sorts, but that does require them being part of the world and something that has some presence in it, rather than being just mobs appearing from out of nowhere. Now, I haven't played 4 and 76 (and as such cannot attest to its being just a name or more) - but wasn't there a raider-centric DLC for 4? Something about a theme park, I think?
@@nikital.6523 What you just described is exactly what happened with 4’s Nuka World dlc and all of 76’s raider groups. Nuka World’s Disciples are a cult devoted to bloodshed and sadism. The Operators are basically organized crime. The Pack are animalistic, train animals, and cover themselves in paint. 4’s Far Harbor had the Trappers, as well. People driven mad by the island’s unique radioactive fog, driven to attack anyone and everyone not sharing their madness. The Children of Atom as well, though attacking largely just as radiation-themed raiders in the main game, are shown to be a large culture filled with differing beliefs and views and people (for example, one of their soldiers is a former member of the Enclave that they saved and fixed up). 76’s raiders all have this. The Cutthroats are brutes that slaughter their way through everyone, and have a signature weapon in their ski swords (literally swords made from skis). The Blood Eagles are deranged, strung out killers with a distinct ruling structure. The Diehards are raiders only because they had no other choice, fighting and killing only when there was no other option available. The New Diehards are raiders, but also closer to the “family of families” described by Joshua Graham, being a group of the old world’s outcasts that have banded together after the end. And so on. People like criticize shit like this without realizing that Bethesda noticed the problem and has taken steps to fix it.

I grew up with the original games, so I always enjoy seeing OG Fallout being covered. That's the good shit, and you don't see enough of it on YT. So, thanks for the content!
The regulators had there fair share of cut content as well its a shame because the story between them the Rippers and the Baldes could have been one of the best
I loved using the gangs in Fallout 2. Wait for the Yakuza to fight anyone in a random encounter. Hide until the fight is over, loot whatever is left. Wakazashi, plasma grenades, Tommy guns, etc. For free.
The most hilarious outcome of this cut is the irony that while most characters in the wasteland talk of the Deathclaw as a legendary creature or straight up hoax, the Boneyard literally has a whole map filled with them...
Man, this sounds like it would have been fun. Considering the mountain of content both FO1 and 2 are missing are there any mods out there that add an absolute mountain of content in? Either restored or brand new content?
besides the Restoration Project for FO2 I don't recall any. There is a mod for FO1 called Fallout Fixt but that's more an assembly of tweaks and bugfixes.
I remember distinctly cut lines from The vault 13 overseer that were more father son talks with the vault dweller. I remember you talking about it. Could you please make a video on them? they are really interesting
I probably would have liked to have seen the rippers have some form of inclusion, though between the quest that was cut and what we got, I'm happy with what we got.
i hope all of fallout 5's raider groups are different and have different characteristics and stuff. it would be cool for raiders to be so unique that by just looking and them you can tell what gang they are from.
