Now comes with the AA certificate of Approval 👍👍👍
Jimmy. No what you do someone won’t be happy. It amazes me how many don’t read or listen to what you say or do. How they manage to find TH-cam or pass a driving test beats me. DPF has opened a whole new can of worms for owners and they have no choice but to learn unless they want to join the victim club. I appreciate all your videos and am better informed about maintaining my td6 thanks to you. 👍👍👍
Daughter bought that model 2019 plate from a dealer and yes you guessed it management light on after 200 miles . Plugged in says dpf nox sensor ect . I told her don’t buy a diesel car
THANKS VERY INTERESTING VIDEO thank you 👍
please if you want your DPF cleaned, fill up your fuel tank first.
Jimmy. I've done a vw today a different way and it dropped from 80mbar to 9 in about 5 mins. Smoke cleared and it pretty much reset itself.
them clips and screws and seal cost 27.00 from Land Rover, We keep a new one on the van for these jobs because we have had the head of the Alan key bolt brake off from rust, just like them 4 x 10mm bolts you undo, we generally use WD40 on them to help them out and to go back in nice and smooth, great video Jimmy, Paul at Carbon Doctor
No experience did it and all fixed mechanic wanted a big bill to fix it but got it fixed all thanks to this video
Am doing mine today
Thanks Jimmy for making the videos, they are very helpful, I thought I would check my 2.0 Evoques Adblue injector, glad I did as it needed cleaned, not bad for 7 years service but would never of done it without watching your videos, and checked my exhaust pipes and they are clean so all seems good, thanks again
Jimmy strikes again 👍
My favourite video I run cleaner down the DPF sensor pipe from engine bay easy
LR should do a prepurchase fix ur own engine course for potential customers..😂❤❤❤
Not a bad idea
Can check add blue level by using steering wheel controls, and it will show you in the dash.
Great videos. Would you foresee any issues adding an Adblue additive to the Adblue tank on a 17 plate 2.0 evoque? It’s a Wynns product and says suitable for all cars with Adblue. Can’t find anything online about using these in an Evoque.
Perfect Jimmy 👍
Great job
Hey Jimmy, I can't believe Alcoholics Anonymous are recommending you. 😉
Good job, thank you.
Thank you too!
@@ORileysAutos great stuff, Jimmy!!!!!
@@tomsurrey2252 cheers
Great video as always, can you add the DPF cleaner like you have in the video as a precautionary measure and would it throw up any fault codes , I don’t have any issues just yet but was thinking of checking the condition of the Adblue injector to see if it needs cleaning
Great videos Jimmy 👌🏻
Swear all the cars I go to do DPF cleans on have low fuel which is another issue with them fuel level goes low and stop regenerating 🙄 people keeping fuel in the last 1/4 what do they expect to happen 😅
nice easy one jimmy
never take your car to be diagnosed with low fuel min 1/4 is required to do regen ? but don't put it to a mechanic to fill your car b4 he starts his test that's just stupid,,,why let add blue run to empty it normally starts countdown 800mls this more than time to topup why create a problem that isn't there ,and don't fill up less than 10l if it goes empty as it won't restart ..,because if it won't start it requires 10l to unlock most cars,i just wonder how many people don't realise that region don't start if below 1/4 tank it in your handbook explaining this this is to make sure it don't run out during a regen on motorway etc as it will burn lot more fuel whilst going through its process .but you got to think that the bottom of a tank hold all the muck grime water ect the stuff you don't want to get into a fuel line /filter what's another 10l of fuel really worth ,less trouble is the word ,diesel cars don't like dirt get way on a petrol car ! not a diesel
Why would you let your vehicle run so low of fuel? It's asking for trouble all the particles are in the bottom of the tank & also water! Same with the adblue, why wait until you get the message unless you have a container on board for topping up the adblue? Great job Jimmy. The 2.0 ingenium engine that you mention is it the same engine in the Ford transits?
" It's asking for trouble all the particles are in the bottom of the tank & also water!" there at the bottom of the tank all the time full or empty so is the fuel pickup pipe its a myth running low on fuel picks up extra practical matter ... the worst time is just after you have filled up as it can mix everything up together but thats why we change the fuel filter ...Diesel and gasoil fuels are hygroscopic, therefore the fuel will absorb and hold water at a molecular level. The amount of water absorbed will vary with temperature, air humidity and biodiesel content.
can the car perform a passive re-gen if you have P2BAE-00
What diagnostics tool are you using?
Have you had to attend to any p2000 codes on the newer Ford 1.5 diesels yet Jimmy?
Yes a lot of connect vans
You found any issues with the Hego sensors on them?
I've given up trying to contact this company as I have DPF prob.
Never reply to messages left....must be busy
Why buy a tractor for the school run?
So a customer gets you round with next to no fuel in the car🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Anybody with half a brain cell wouldnt run so low on fuel and wouldnt buy a LR anyway
And does just over 4k miles a year
That’s cause you couldn’t afford one lmao
@@misty1641 ive got a year old Lexus i only service it and put petrol in it
As just about every video is about blocked DPFs or related to them and "Launch UK" get a mention every single time I can't help but think there is a promotional/sponsored tie-in going on. I know Jimmy's denied this but seriously there has to be... if there isn't there might as well be. Do you actually fix any other mechanical issues nowadays??
DPF was a top issue, and since Jimmy is the expert in his field, most of his work is all about DPF's, as he is booked solid back to back DPF's all week long. if you follow Jimmy, you can also see most of the mechanic shops in the UK just can't seem to figure things out and he ends up fixing the issues. by the way, making unfounded accusations just makes you look like a troll.
It would make absolutely no difference to my viewers if I was sponsored by Launch UK. I'm not but I wish I was. Any video that I post I treat it as if new viewers are looking at it so if I don't mention what fluid I'm using or diagnostic tool I get hounded with emails asking those questions.
I try to put as much information on the videos as possible. So should I also be sponsored by MityVac? Otofix? I've showed OTOFIX can do some cars that my launch tool can't.
I'm not affiliated with any company although I wish I was. I deserve to be sponsored. I spoke with the sales manager of launch and he offered support but not sponsorship. He did admit Launch UK has seen a 400% increase in sales since my videos
Another pointless comment.. I personally and I'm sure I speak for others I'm learning alot from these videos especially with the common faults on certain models...just unsubscribe, it's very simple
Jim show the viewers the gun but don't advertise for launch they definitely have made alot of money from you and to not give you a sponsor or affiliate link is ridiculous in 2023 buddy
JLR 10000 cars waiting parts and have run out of Courtesy Cars in the UK to put Customers in, Why anyone deals with this company is beyond me they have been garbage for decades.
Adblue just delete that crap
Need to clone you jimbob and put you in every city and town to save people thousands of pounds getting ripped off, ace video as usual 👍👍
