Lovely, and very well recorded too. Not muddy with echo as the room suggests it would be. Good mic placement. My goodness what a beautiful flute! Taya, your plain, but elegant black outfit really compliments it. Thanks all of you.❤🇨🇦
Really? This is expression and I as a traverso baroque player too, even not professional, but I can tell, making that high octaves needs some movememt, not in the process of tomemaking, but to compemsate the multitasking that the body is having to do. As you watch alot baroque flute players, all move quiet notoceably, this is, in my opinion also due to the baroque fingering, you have no keys, everything must be fingered within 6 holes, this is requiering very much movement out of the Fingers, inwich the body is folloeing...other than that, in my opinion it is pure beauty, how the Player is one with the music. No instrument like the traverso, has this royal and elegant bodymovements! If you want to See people stay still, just watch a modern flute Player ... or, as said, play it for yourself...
I can hardly get the point of what you said. I seriously studied traverso for more than 20 Years. I don't know about this flautist. But I was moved from the first bar when I heard the music she renders . She plays superb and her music was perfect. What matters is her music she makes and transfers to us , no matter what motion she takes when she plays! I know She was struggling to perform what she wanted to draw from her flute.

Bravi!
What flute are you using? Who makes it?
May I ask- Is That an Oberlender Copie?
Yes, is an Oberlender copy.
Elbows not needed to make sound
Well played, but it ruins the experience of the music that the flute player stands and twists in that way!
I look forward to your playing the piece as well as she without the movement. Seriously, I'm waiting. OH? NO? Then be quiet and enjoy.

She's not moving; she's dancing to her playing.
