@@fightbreakdown885First off, everyone is entitled to their opinions, that's yours and I don't really care. With all due respect,. You made a horrible analogy, McCall was a crack head who landed a lucky punch and Rahman was a mid level contender who landed a lucky punch. It's called an off night. Comparing that to a round robin of 3 greats is horrible. Ok, you think he doesn't deserve it, cool. But you have guys like mancini and Gatti who were overrated punching bags who never even got close to beating a big name and sit in the HoF. Why not Randall? Maybe he needed to kill a unknown Korean or have a veteran daddy to get in huh?

Amazing documentary. I followed Randall's career intimately and I thought he was done after looking ordinary in a decision win over Jerry Page in 1989 and then going to prison shortly thereafter. I was delighted when he straightened himself out and got the Chavez fight. He was quietly confident in the pre fight interview. Then he went out and performed as he said he could. On that night he was the epitome of what a true professional fighter aspires to he - put on a clinic showcasing intricate skills learned over many hard years buoyed by a huge fighting heart. It was a moment of redemption and was the feel good story for any knowledgeable follower of boxing at the time. He had climbed the mountain

What a shame. I remember the surgeon stopping chavez winning streak by totally outsmarting, and outboxing the Mexican legend. Not many like him. I didn't know he was gone. RIP 🙏

Chavez was carried by the governing boxing powers in the later stages of his career ,Whitaker beat him ,Taylor should have inthe first match and Randal should have been awarded the first two encounters, those farce tanished Chavez legacy to a degree . Chavez became a willing recipient of questionable ,unsavory , official scoring , advantages .
