Okok, we all agree that Nishida is a good player but can we like appreciate the starting line up of this game?! They picked themselves back up from the first set and won two straight sets. The Japanese team is super good overall and I feel like the starters in this game aren’t looked up to as much as the usual line up. THEY DID SO GOOD!! I wish I could meet them in real life 🥹 they’re my motivation to be a better player!!💜
This was 3 years ago, but I just love volleyball matches. It's always been interesting to watch Japan Team playing. They are quick and energetic and have skills. Congrats Japan Team for winning the match.
First time I have seen the whole game.. Yanagida, Shimizu,Hisahara and Fujii worked on the 2nd and 3rd set but it was NIshida who finished the game. EPIC!!
can we also talk about how nishida and the libero of brazil have pretty much the same height and still nishida doing an amazing job as an opposite, a monster truly

Canada's team blockers against Japan's spikers are such a good show, when the ball goes from one end of the court to the other end, the right-most blocker gave up on blocking it and instead shifted to receive the cross.

I think the same, at least if Yanagida can't be a starter, he can be a pinch serve, because in the Japanese team, Yanagida has the second best serve after Nishida, I don't understand the Japanese coach's decision 😡
@Bharat Dhurua for USA I'm sure they can beat it. for brazil i agree with you, japan got the best performance in world cup 2019 they are almost in the top three, they have prepared this team for a long time, fukuzawa and yanagida have a big role for the japanese team, they deserve to play in the olympics, but the coach replaced they are at the last moment with young players who can't defend, if the team is replaced after the olympics I still understand.
@@t.auliaputra6520 well, everything had changed. those young players had made so much contribution especially last 2020 Olympic, they entered the quarterfinals after 29 yrs! and its now 2023 VNL they are going to compete for the finals, having been second place in the prelims. The coach had indeed made the right decision. sorry, but Yanagida was never been recruited to play at the VNL 2022 and 2023, he was with team B. he was overshadowed by the likes of young Ran Takahashi, Tatsunori Otsuka, Masato Kai

Very late response but it was the coach's respect for his other players. Those that started here are all the non starters for the whole tournament, so the coach make them as starters this whole game as goodwill for japan's amazing performance in this tournament. All the usual main starters of japan probably only played like a total 15 minutes.
