hey! loved the video :) how do you connect those fx boxes? i've got an eventide space and an h9 and i'm wondering how to connect them to this mixer (i've been using them with a xone96)
Thanks for so informative video. I am wondering if it is possible to have headphone cueing not effected by the isolator? Like on the Xone 92 I always cue tracks bypassing EQ. It is very helpful in club environment, when it is necessary to start coming in with little signal, but on the headphones you can still hear all the kick, and beatmach with ease. So, is this feature available and what is the price of this mixer? Thanks!
The cueing is pre-ISO, so you do not hear ISO in the headphones which can be good. I would prefer to have ISO in the cue but it's just not the way it was designed (2 ISO, 4 Ch...) You'll have to email Isonone about the price. I know it went up since I purchased, and it was a big investment for me but, I am satisfied.
Thank you so much. Been looking for an actual hands on review of this mixer for years. How do you like the waist high layout of the phono/line channels?
The EQ is 100% transparent so you can leave them on all the time like 99% of mixers out there. Plus they are really meant to subtly shape the extreme highs and lows not necessarily DJ with but you can of course. I think he put the switches on there for the HiFi crowd who insists on having the purest signal path possible and would want to remove them.
I wish they made it with faders.. the sound quality and circuitry is so amazing but its so hard to cut on rotary mixers... and lets face it A&H cant compare nor can the model 1 ;)
@@djdeejdjay8669 Master Sounds makes great gear but, I don't want valves in my mixer. I want my mixer to be totally transparent, not coloring everything I play with the sound of my mixer. That was my deciding factor and nothing available has lower distortion (color) than the Isonoe.

I have a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University and have worked professionally as a sound engineer since 2004 so, I know about sound too and honestly I don't care how much your sound system costs. Mastersounds is a great company. I use their record weights. The Radius V is a great mixer too, but if you are comparing specs, the Isonoe is currently the best far as transparency. The THD+N of a radius V is .0008% the Isonoe is .00033% the frequency response of your Mixer is +- 1dB the Isonoe is +- 0.2dB. You can find the specs on both manufacturers' websites.
found this video since I have a gig tonight and they told me we're using one and definitely dropping your track on this ! thanks for the video!
You're welcome bro. Appreciate the kind words.
Finally a demo of the shelfs!
Thank you very much!
Exactly! That’s what I was thinking too. Glad you enjoyed the video.
this is really helpful! i have a set tomorrow - and prior to this video i had no idea what to expect. thanks!
Came for the mixer, stayed for the beat! Lovely mixer but I still love my model 1.

Impressive! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for Sharing... Nice!
For sure!
Nice explanation, and nice mixer.
Thank you!
Thanks, I've always wondered what each knob did
No problem!
Great review! Thank you!
Thanks so much for the demo. I'm torn between getting this or a Condesa moving from a Mastersounds and this has made my decision much easier
GameMaster by Lost Tribe tucked away on the floor on the left there - jeez that brings back some memories…
Absolute Classic!
thanks for sharing, impressive mixer... the isolators are so powerful I can't believe it
Yes they are! It's a great mixer all around. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hey I like your tune man, is there a way to buy Let's Drop The Beat to use it in a mix sometime? On your soundcloud I can't buy it
this track is so crazy what the hell
Haha, thanks! It was very fun to produce this one.

How would you connect a mic to the mixer. is it via channel 4 ?
Dude, I forgot how badass Lost Tribe Game Master was, was a classic
Seriously Good Track. It sort of encapsulates the era in song form.

If you mean having the knobs on the front, it's fantastic. Is that what you meant by waist high layout?
@@djleapwarren2716 Yes, that's what I meant. Not the traditional layout, which is why I haven't press the send money now button.
nice sounding mixer, can i find this track on spotify?
This is my dream mixer. Do you mind me asking how much you payed?
around the £3000?
Hi Leap, wonderful mxr, thanks for sharing! Could you give me the title of the track?
Hey Michele, thanks for reaching out. That’s one my originals. Right now you can Download it for free at soundcloud. m.soundcloud.com/leapwarren
Those plops would drive me crazy when engaging en disengaging the eq etc. Too expensive for that

Can anyone give me an idea of what this costs please?
www.isonoe.com/contact/ They can give you a current figure and lead time. Cheers

I wouldn't mind having a Isonoe build a custom battle style mixer!
