Money will come from sky? You people just think that by changing tracks, we can improve trains speed.🤦🤦🤦
These are R260 rails which can easily handle 220 kmph speed but still trains run at 130 kmph. Just changing tracks you can't improve train speed.

you need to grow up. i am an engineer who works in RDSO which is responsible for all technology development for railways.
these tracks are suitable for 220 KMPH speed. These rails are 6o kg 90 uts rail and sleepers are pcs sleepers with 1660 nos per km.
present government is very visionary government . while upgrading railway tracks to 130 KMPH, government didn't used 52 kg rails as 52 kg rails are also suitable for 130 kmph but they used 6o kg 90 uts which is also suitable for 200 KMPH. they used pcs sleepers with 1660 nos per km density, which is suitable for speeds upto 250 KMPH.
for upgrading speeds to 160 KMPH , government just have to upgrade it's OHE wire to 1200/1200 kgf tension from current 1000/1000 tension and voltage to 2*250 KV which is suitable for high speed. and government need to fence the tracks. government is already upgrading delhi mumbai and delhi howrah tracks to 160 KMPH , it is talking more time because it's first major OHE upgradation but rest golden quadrilateral lines will not take too much times. for 160 KMPH and above , tracks need to be fenced and kawach system is necessary.
for 200 KMPH speed, government just have to upgrade signalling to in cab signalling system which will not take too much time. and minor change in tracks.
Government is very smart, they are already bringing trains and trainsets which can run t the speed of 200 KMPH so that when tracks will be available then they can run at 200 KMPH.
government is also doing station redevelopment. redeveloped stations will have fixed entry and exist gate and government will install automatic ticket checking machines at those gates just like we have on metro stations. due to station redevelopment government can easily generate 5-10 billion dollars revenue every year.

THIS SHOWS LEVEL OF YOUR MINDSETS.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS COST OF 1 KM OF BULLET TRAIN TRACKS? ''ATLEAST'' 20 MILLON US$. WE HAVE ABOUT 70,000 KM OF TRACKS
      NOW CALCULATE TOTAL COST FOR UPGRADATION- 20*70,000 = 14,00,000 MILLION US$= 1.4 TRILLION US$
      INDIA'S TOTAL RAILWAY BUDGET IS JUST 30 BILLION US$= 0.03 TRILLION US$😂😂😂😂😂😂
GO KID STUDY RATHER THAN SHOWING YOUR CHILDISH MIND. I HAVE DONE MY GRADUATION FROM IIT, I HAD WORKED IN MAKING HIGH STRENGTH RAIL, PSC SLEEPERS, TCAS (KAVACH SYSTEM), UPGRADED SEJ, HIGHER SPEED SWITCH BOX AN WORKING IN MANY MORE PROJECTS.
