Books issue is he's lost his will to win(competitive spirit) he's not prepared to play, he doesn't have energy or bounce when you watch him it's almost as though he no longer cares about the teams or his success. Bud has to reel him back in some way some how. Everyone else seems to be playing well. Its just book realistically who is disappointing.
Why do people keep bringing up the Olympics?! He was basically on an all star team. He could use all of his energy on defense because he wasn’t needed to score. His defense has been horrible this year
There is no way y’all are suggesting bringing Tyus off the bench instead of Beal. Almost every statistical number shows the starting lineup is better when you replace Beal with any other wing. Lineup should be: Tyus-Book-Royce-KD-Nurk Beal’s metrics when playing with the bench unit are AMAZING.. Let him run the 2nd unit! Everything (health, fit, etc.) points to Beal should be coming off the bench.

I know we went 8 and 1 with the "big 3". I still feel that Bradley would be best utilized in a Manu Ginobili type role. If anyone can convince him, it's the best option for the team. It's the disciple of Popovich, coach Budenholzer. As for when KD is out, the defense is the main problem for me. Inexcusable effort. Multiple times now we've had good games from our role players and our stars have struggled. The Suns ( mostly Bradley and Devin) need to stop thinking so much and play their game. It's obvious watching them play.
Benjamin did nkt watch suns last year at all, book wasn’t good at all. His stats are inflated cause he had the ball the whole time and therefore he had his worse defensive season ever , can’t believe ehe said book was a good defender last year Comon man he was god awful
It’s almost like the big three is redundant can’t play together well enough to win big. They all operate around the same area of the floor adding tyus jones to that lineup makes them smaller and worst defensively. Ideally you’ll trade Beal for a Center or a Big wing but they can’t. It would clear up the floor and makes everyone’s role a lot more clear.
You have to put Tyus out there for the simple fact that the ‘big 3’ are turnover machines Tyus at least provides some ball protection. The Big 3 should just let Tyus handle the ball n they become spot up shooters, cutters, or just keep moving till the ball finds them. This Facilitating Booker thing sucks because it takes away from him being a scoring assassin
When will KD return? KD is the most accomplished player and the most influential member of this team. The team's performance depends on KD's performance.
The West is tough outside of Utah and Port...and on any given night those 2 can beat you as well! Beal is no longer a reliable 3rd option let alone a 2nd option when KD is out! The 5 position needs to be upgraded..JN not that good...Plumlee not a quality starter...but a good backup!

Olympic Booker = 2nd to 4th best player available on the team --> Great
Suns Booker = Best player available on the team --> Disappointment

Booker issues is not mental, Booker is not athletic enough, quick enought, strong enought to get by his opponent
