Why are you adding money to make it double in envelopes that are already filled? For example, for car insurance - you doubled the money that was already in there?

Because the money in there is 1/2 of my payment. 113 is one half and 113 is the other. Total bill is 226 and then I’ll go to the bank to pay the car insurance payment. Same with internet, half of the payment is 54 and 53 to add to a total of 107 for the month. Same with car payment, half is 217 and 216 and then 433 for the payment at the end of the month. We get paid biweekly and take out 1/2 the amount for bills and then the other 1/2 from the next paycheck and then we pay the payments. Hope that makes sense.
