    hey thy!! im currently in year 11, but i wanted to ask if its possible to get early entry in medical courses for unis? or is it completely dependent on atar rank and internals from year 12...? anyways love your content! its so hard finding people who open up about their success in getting into medicine hahah

      hi! thank you for ur comment :))
      i am 90% sure that you can't get early entry into medical courses, but there may be some pathways for Indigenous students (eg UNSW Med has PMP for Indigenous students but im not sure if it's early entry). i might be wrong so double check or you can email uac or the unis to check!

    hey I’m around middle in ranks for my subject and I’m already 2 terms in can I still get a 99 atar? And improve my rank over the next assesment and trials? And what do u recommed

      hi! have you gotten an atar prediction from your school yet? that will normally give a good indication of where youre at. ranks are important but it also depends on your school - theres always exceptions but generally speaking, being middle in rank at james ruse or nsb etc would have higher atar than middle rank at a lower ranked school eg prairiewood, hurlstone or a non-selective school ranked in the 100s. You can absolutely improve your rank over the next assessment and especially trials - trials is where some people may not perform as well and thus fall in terms of rank. I didnt get a 99 ATAR, but some recommendations for you is that make sure you’re studying actively, chuck ur phone in another room. And definitely recommend grinding out past papers - for maths, have a mistakes book where you collate all the questions you’re getting wrong and why. For english, have quotes techniques etc and ask a teacher to read through your essays and give feedback. Lmk if you have any other questions, otherwise best of luck for the rest of Year 12!

    Hii!! I see you were an nsg HAHA- I'm in year 12 at nsg rn!! Right now I'm sitting at average for all my subjects except for english adv, ext (I'm top 10) and chem (rank 5 for first task and around rank 50/100 for the second task 💀). Do you think I can still get a 99 atar?

    • @hellothysworld
      @hellothysworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      hi fellow nsg!! nice work for eng ext 🕺 and gl for chem HAHA
      tbh idk - not sure about now but when i was in nsg the school gave us atar predictions twice! so that should help - otherwise you can use atar calculators but idk how accurate they are… not helpful but just do the best you can and hope that that is enough ! bc there’s no surefire way to know besides like topping every subject. try and get your ranks up high and if your cohort performs well for hsc then hopefully it works out- lmk if you have further questions and good luck!
