Thanks to your videos I am reminded of authors whose books I've loved but whose names I forgot over time. I quite enjoyed Stephanie Laurens and Lynsey Sands' books. Thank you for covering them.
I wish I could do audiobooks but I am way too visual, I guess. As a little girl I had those books with a cassette of the reading & would get annoyed by it & end up stopping it & just reading it. My momma was sad when I learned to read & wouldn't let her read to me anymore because I just wanted to read myself.
I'm a huge fan of historical romance specially the older ones. I love how you are also enjoying the old ones. Some of my favorite authors are judith mcnaught, julie garwood, older johanna lindsey (not her new ones), constance o'banyon and older shannon drake. If you haven't read man of my dreams by johanna lindsey, I would highly recommend it. Lions and Lace is also one of my favorite books. I have forgotten some of my favorites. I hope your archive will give me new recommendations and help me reconnect with my old favorites. Happy reading!
@@Liz0657 I'm huge fan of her older works and I read some of the malory anderson on repeat. My favorite from this series are Love only once, gentle rouge, and tender rebel. happy reading!
Joana Lindsay is a one of the first. The sheikh es first book and I become a fan. She passed in October 2019 and others Shannon Drake I am searching for her books. My daughter agreed that Lindsay last books were different and she stopped to read.
Dear Lacey. I like your reading taste and I like your videos. I am quite intrigued when you gave Stacy Reid a 4-stars. I am wondering which authors are similar to Stacy Reid's writing. Is Ms Reid writes historically accurate romance? Your input is much appreciated.
For authors like Stacy Reid, maybe try Jennifer Ashley and Kerrigan Byrne! I would say it’s fairly historically accurate - nothing really stood out to me as inaccurate
@@LaceyBooklovers Thanks! After watching your video, I am now trying Stephanie Lauren. I am still early in the Cynster bk1, liking it a good deal so far.
I like the punny T-shirt👌🏾. You have anymore T-shirts with puns? The Gilded Hour by Sara Donati for another Gilded age book👀. It’s awesome you get to talk to all these authors, is there anyone specific you’ve been looking to talk to next?
If I could talk with Lisa Kleypas I would DIE 😂 I’ve got a “viscount me in for another episode” tshirt that I’m sure I’ll be wearing in a video soon lol
Where do you get most of your historical romance on audio? I’m in this weird limbo where I have an American phone but I’m living in Ireland and so licensing is making it difficult for me to find and download books! Also who are your favorite narrators?
I get them through my library on the libby app! If you know someone willing to lend you their card, you probably could also use Libby. Audible isn’t free, but maybe you could check that out. Some of my favorite narrators are Joe Arden, Andi Arndt, Zachary Webber, Teddy Hamilton & Julia Whelan.
Please, oh please, can you (or anyone else) recommend a perfect male POV romance for me??? 😭😭😭😭 Ps: I really enjoy swoon heroes, but beggars can't be choosy 😂 (The smuttier, the better!)
First, James Trevillion wasn't injured in a war. He was injured in Phoebe's brother's book acting as what is now a cop. Second. I really wish for these thumbnails the covers were accurate to the books read. I was looking forward to someone discussing Splendid. Third, Lyndsey Sands. I think I've read all or at least most of her book list. Most of the time they are good. But her last paranormal . . . Annoyed the hell out of me. It was odd and . . . Judgemental in a way I've never seen a Lyndsey Sands book be. Also trigger warnings, lots of trigger warnings which made the judgemental attitudes stand out even more.
I really like Stephanie Laurens, both the Cynsters and the Bastion Club. Just a warning, the book about Devil's little brother, Scandal, is kinda r*pey on behalf of the woman.

Whitney my love is one of my favorite books.

@@LaceyBooklovers try Until You. It's one of my faves. Also, Castles by Julie Garwood. 😊
Once and always by Judith Mcnaught. my favourite book of all time

I’m actually reading Johanna Lindsey Say You Love Me from her Malory-Anderson series and it’s so good. I’m reading them in order.
