ayo why did my comment about the Leon Kennedy voice acting in Dead By Daylight get removed for “harassment and bullying”? It was literally a joke about the exact stuff they mentioned in this same video? I opened TH-cam again a few minutes after leaving that comment to see that notification filling my whole screen.
Like. If you don’t want other videos mentioned in the comments I get that, but it seems pretty strict. Also if you’re doing that too much it will limit the reach that your video has because the engagement will be artificially lowered. Don’t self sabotage like that.
and hold up, there are multiple transphobic comments about Persephone on this video just because she’s there and existing but MY comment was the one taken down for “bullying”? WHY?
The comment might have been reported by a random person, and not by the creator of the video
or TH-cam's algorithm did a fucky-wucky
Assuming a specific comment was removed explicitly by the creator is, unfortunately, perhaps the least likely option there is. At most, they probably have a default filter on, that was possibly misinterpreted by the mechanism meant to apply it.
Also, looked for the transphobic comments you mentioned. There were two in the entire comment section, both made by the same person. If any others had been there, they were in fact removed.
Both of this person's comments make the same "joke" that avoids using any words that might suggest it's a trans person he's talking about. Imma just assume they're a he, because that's the extent of their joke and if they get mad at me for it, it just makes them a fucking hypocrite. But this does go back to what I mentioned.
If there are any words categorically banned in an attempt to avoid transphobia, those messages only use words that you just can't really ban. Like "left", "it", "that" etc.
But thanks for pointing them out, I have now reported both comments. Hope that makes it a little more fair
