    Greg Lemond tuvo muchísima suerte en los tours de 1989 y 1990 que ganó... En 1991 ya estaba Induráin a tope para ponerlo "en su sitio".

      That grinding is how you generate power. Spin a little gear fast and you'll never maximise your potential because you'll never grab the extra power at the back wheel that elite cyclists generate through higher torque and lower rpm. If you can sit at the same heartrate as another identical rider at 80 rpm, while they do 110, you're using the oxygen used to merely turn the pedals 30 times to produce useful power. Runners can sit at high heartrates on a bike, using small gears. But it's inefficiency. They're working their body, but it's not useful power.
