Yeah, makes me sad that The Living Dead movie didn't have any real nice bonding moments between WN and LSZ like Fatal Journey did with the Nie brothers. A missed opportunity, I feel.
This is by far my favourite Weng Ning video and it made me tear up. He is treated so unfairly by everyone for a life he can't help and he always stays by Wei Wuxian's side as his loyal follower because he helped him a couple of times. Even after he's repaid it all he still stays and this is just my opinion but I feel after Wei Ying came back 16 years later he wasn't as grateful to Wen Ning for always being there and just wanted to be with Lan Zhan. I'm glad he realised he had his own life to live and decided to move on, that's also when Wei Wuxian realised how grateful he was to having his friend always by his side and he didn't want him to leave. I love Weng Ning and I think the actor did a phenomenal job.

I absolutely loved this. I hate that everyone believed him to be a monster that they could use for their own benefit if they learned to control him. He was so far from a monster. He really was the most loyal, kind hearted and purest boy that still had so much to give to the world but people just assumed that because he fought with so many people (although most were puppets) and because he stayed by Wei Wuxian's side, he was a horrible monster. He certainly wasn't, in fact it was the 2 that were accused of being evil that were actually the purest and most kind-hearted of them all.
Wen Ning no matter what he went through his soul remained beautiful. I think of him as a blessing and this video it fits him perfectly. Thank you for the time and effort it took to make this video.
He is the true most kind, loyal and clear character of this story. A pure heart, he doesn t feel anger or revenge, he only want to protect the justice with his shy and calm attitude. He is a beautiful character for that. He is the gentle one, and yes he become strong when he is the ghost General, but his power is not evil. He remain white as his heart.
