It's also late for me when I watched Untamed. 2019 when it was at its first few episodes, a lot of my friends were already into it but I don't know what made me miss it. I started getting hook March of 2023. Just like you I watched everything about it. And it makes me happy to finally watch it but also sad that I already finished it. Now I know why they said it's hard to move on from all of this.

Tho I'm a bit late to join the Wangxian bandwagon, I must say Lan Zhan's " Wei Ying, come back" is muchh moree heartbreaking than the famous Titanic's " Jack, come back". Help, how to move on from this beautiful story. It's not even a day and I ady miss the characters so bad 😭😭😭

The clothes that WY wear when he and LZ reunited named "Yun Qu Gui Lai", a Chinese name as well as phrase, in English it is "No matter how far you go, you still comeback". This information is in The Untamed's official artbook (if you wanna buy one and other goods, find twitter acc @nsmgroup, or @theuntamedofficial, the information about the goods are on there. The Untamed also have a twitter account of it own). Based on the clothes's name, we can tell that WY was actually come back to Gu Su and spend the rest of his life beside LZ.
• WY's song (The ending melody pf chenqing) at 1:37 and LZ's song (Never forget) at 0:53 have the same melody, I suggest you to find those MV and listen carefully.

its funny because even though there is HEAVY censorship, you can clearly see the chemistry between the two characters. although Wang Yibo didn't have as many lines as Xiao Zhan, his facial expressions are brilliant in telling how Lan WangJi actually feels towards Wei WuXian
That's why this is my favourite drama of all time!
I've been told this was the absolute maximum they could get away with. I would've loved to have seen more physical interaction between the characters, but the fact that this was made in China and also made it OUT of China is amazing in and of itself.
And Lan zhan don't have much line so when you see them together is ughhh I can't explain it....

It's 2021 now and Yibo is still our incomparable Lan Wang Ji, forever at the very top of my fav list along with Xiao Zhan, our one and only Wei Wuxian! 😇💕 P.S. This series is still my no.1 fav drama and after binge watching, and rewatching countless times, I am still not bored of watching it! Not every drama has a good cast but I dare say that the entire cast in this one is the BEST! The Untamed will go down in history as "legendary". All hail The Untamed❣️ teeheehee

i hadn't read the book but the momment isaw episode 2 when wei ying played the flute to control wen ning and lan zhan grabbed his hand and they looked at each other i knew nothing platonic was going on hear.
I love that metaphor because it fits so well. Their feelings bubbled and seethed underneath the surface for a long time until it finally exploded.
They were eyes fucking. My mom popped in when I was watching, no idea what the show was about and went: they're gay for sure!

I don't think i can ever move on from this drama. The feeling linger different than all drama I've seen. Their stares say so much. My heart has a special place for this drama and its untouchable, irreplaceable.
This is what xiaozhan and yibo call “genuine caring” (真情实感). I’ve seen almost 200 dramas and untamed still remain my favorite. I make videos of it and rewatch it n times but each time I can still find new fun details
I find new lovely details everytime I watch an episode and it makes me love Tge Untamed more and it's harder for me ro get over it. This drama is something very different, it different in some way that's hard to explain...

The first time I've watched this drama, my only reaction in the entire series is that "These two main actors are sooooo good." Their acting is really amazing! They are so talented and they are really perfect for their role; they made me feel a lot of emotions while watching the series. They also made me love watching Chinese historical dramas, novels, donghua, manhua. I really love them soooo much.
The drama is a Masterpiece, the casting is perfect, the relationship between the mains characters is on point and the song deserve best song of 2019!!!

The Untamed means so much to me 😭 I get so many feelings when this song plays, when all different scenes play. Memories of each moment. So much development and growth in this show, western shows just don't compare after you've experienced this. The performances were stunning, and continually awe-inspiring. The subtlety, the beauty of silent communication, the pauses that are given their weight.
It's so so heartwarming to see how loved The Untamed is. I'm so grateful it found me when it did.

I might forget the story, the actors, the song even... But I shall never be able to forget the emotions portrayed by them. The Untamed is not a series.. Its a nostalgia.. I really am thankful to the creators of The Untamed.
I remember it clearly that after finishing the whole series, I downloaded this song and the whole soundtrack and played it almost every night. Until my mom was so done with it and ask me if I fully understand the lyrics, and I was like" Not really". ended up my mom watched the whole series for 3 days and ask me to play this song when she's looking for relaxation.

Mi reconocimiento a los que dirigieron el drama. Encontraron al cast perfecto para cada personaje. Especialmente los protagonistas que eran clave. Ambos son personajes complicados, encontrar a alguien que actuara tan juguetón como es Wuxian, sin que se viese forzado, es muy difícil. Además, el personaje de Wanji, que pareciera sencillo, es un reto poder reflejar tantas emociones con micro expresiones, y ese porte único en el vestuario. Además, hablando de la química entre ambos es muy buena; logran transmitir más sentimientos que muchos otros dramas BL que sí tienen escenas de besos. Las canciones también maravillosas, esta y los temas de los protagonistas, letras y melodías hermosas.
Yo tambien creo que es difícil actuar sin decir muchas palabras porque básicamente tu expresión corporal debe reflejar lo que el espectador tiene que entender 🥺
De acuerdo contigo, he visto a Wang Yibo en otras series y la diferencia es abismal, se mete en su personaje y lo entiendes a la perfección, también me gusta que su amor es algo puro "al menos en el live action" y divinooooooooooooooooooooooo. La quimica entre ellos es monumental!

The first word in the drama was "Lan Zhan", the last word was "Wei Ying".
Lan Zhan's song "Indelibility" at 0:53 and Wei Ying's song "The ending melody of ChenQing" at 1:36 have the same melody.
Wei Ying's clothes at the end of the drama, when he play their song with his flute at the moutain and Lan Zhan called him, named "Yun Qu Gui Lai" (pls correct me if I wrote it wrong) - "No matter how far you go, you still comeback". (I got this information from The Untamed's photobook)
But the line of the first episode is "Wei Wuxian is dead"

The experience of The Untamed really changed my outlook on and lot of life. And I loved the story so much I taught myself to play the Dizi the type of flute WW plays. After 36 months I can play many of the songs from the OST & BGM of donghua and The Untamed. Its just like a blessing whenever I'm stressed.❤💚

The character lan Zhan was not easy to portrait . For an actor it is easy to portray an emotion but portraying being emotionless is really notan easy task and he isso young than also he seriously forget about himself and emerge in the character very well in the whole series we can only see lan Zhan their are not even a single trace of yibo this is what only some actors can do in such a young age he is a true talent not only in acting but in singing and dancing too heis in one word legend .I truly admire him as an person with great talent though I don't have any experience in acting but as an audience I can feel his sincerity towards his word . I hope he will give us more of his great works to watch .
And our forever young actor Xiao Zhan (Sean) he is truly commendable .The character Wei Ying was seriously very complex cause it has so many emotions to portray (opposite to lan Zhan )he has to be a naughty yet serious person at the same time he truly emerged in his role we can see his sincerity towards the character too as an historical character it has some pros and cons of it's own but he unbiasedly portray both the side he let us realise that not everyone who is demonic cultivator is evil he did many things but they have their own reasons he let us understand Wei Ying very well . I am not a great fan of his but with this he truly win me .I can watch this nth time but every time he will move me to tears. I'm sure about that .I rarely cry in my real life , let alone on drama but he is the first character who let my tears stream uncontrollably . He is truly an artist and know how to win over even the thoughest person . I hope he will give me more things i wanna watch for nth time
