There is something essentially ethereal about this person. There are shots of her in any given video where you can almost see thru her. Ohnahh. A u kidding me Roses? I literally felt goosebumps hearing, it's so mesmerizing.I cant stop hearing those wonderful songs. So what’s hindering her shine? “Coachella” and “Sea of hope” is something else. when she’s in the stage she’s really shine owns the scene. She sounded better without autotune. Her passion and heartfelt way of singing every song is worth stanning.

This is Rose' projecting her current songs 5:25 she is standing on the staircase to heaven showing you the way, one year later, in Typa Girl, She said Heavens gate just open up, She was showing us the way all this time. lol some other songs Rose' did were on "SEA OF HOPE" most of them are english covers, solos and duets. Alicia Keys, Paramore, Jason Marz to name a few. but my favorite is a cover of BOB cover NOT FOR LONG, just a quick showcase, th-cam.com/video/ALuR_NPn6Qs/w-d-xo.html as for Jisoo, she mentioned in an interview a few months ago, she is not sure which way she should push her solo song, so she has not done it yet. she is interested in acting, and thus she made a mini series "SNOWDROP" which you can watch on Disney+. when she figures out which direction she wants to push her solo project, we will all know. so we just have to be patient. She has done a few covers, Clarity is her (IN YOUR AREA) tour song, she sung at all the concerts and when in Japan, she sung (Yuki No Hana) which is also great. She has done Habits (Stay High) cover of Tove Lo, and How can I love the heartbreak cover by AKMU
I'll add on to the comments about Rosé. When I first found BLACKPINK I was drawn to Lisa and Jennie first, like everyone else, because of their swag, in-your-face style. But after a while, when I saw the girls offstage and showing their real personalities, I fell hard for Rosé. I would liken her to a "California Girl", she loves fruit and veggies, being outdoors and riding a bike. But the thing that hits me the hardest is that she wears her heart on her sleeve. She doesn't censor herself, she doesn't know how, she'll say whatever she thinks or feels and discusses her faults and insecurities. She's also the "sensitive one", she can't hide her emotions and is the one who cries the most. Being a celebrity it's probably not the best thing to be so open to the world but I love that so much, she's so unapologetically real. I saw BLACKPINK in Newark, NJ on their 2019 World Tour, and during the Sound Check I gave her a gift. She thanked me for it, then she thanked me again at the end of the Sound Check. I was literally floating for the rest of the show! I love all of the girls and their individual style and quirks, but Rosé has my heart. Check out their Netflix doc, you'll see their "other side" and get a different perspective on the members.
So her vocals are STUNNING!!! And it's not only the sound she's getting, its her interpretation of it. The way she approaches lines of lyrics is brilliant. She definitely a song stylist. When she gets up to cover like a Beatles song or some popular tune you know, it's like OH HERE WE GO!!! She is going to KILL this thing!! She is one of the few vocal talents on earth who can turn on her camera phone at some airport lobby, sing into it and melt your heart away. In a video like this one, adding hair, wardrobe, effects, camera work, ... she's a superstar. she also performs this song as a staged dance routine where she is the center feature dancer with back up dancers. As you know they learn choreo-ed dance numbers for these songs to perform on stage.
She was born in New Zealand and raised in Austrailia until she was 15/16 which is when she moved to South Korea to train and then after she was done with training, shes been in Blackpink with the other girls :) so of course her english would be perfect since it is her native language haha. Lots of people miss that shes Aussie though so no worries :)

I really like Yuki No Hana, which is a traditional Japanese Christmas/ holiday song by Jisoo live at their concert in Japan. Every member of Blackpink was promised a solo after their successful first year as a group. It was planned that Jennie would be first followed by Rose then Lisa. Jisoo's solo would be the last solo from the group. Jisoo, herself, had stated that she is having difficulty deciding what style she wanted to do for her solo. Lisa had suggested, to Jisoo, a rap song. Still deciding on the style of her solo and the upcoming Blackpink world tour would make Jisoo's solo not coming out anytime soon.
If you want more Rose, please check out her "Sea of Hope" live performances. Several awesome performances there. As for Jisoo, she the lead actress of "Snowdrop" D-Drama and she just won Best Actress for it. And her live performances of "Clarity" and "YUKI NO HANA (SNOW FLOWER) | 2018 ARENA TOUR [IN KYOCERA DOME] OSAKA"
Thankyou for explaining the LYRICS........ this is very deep.. i never really understood the LYRICS.... thanks again.... i didn't know ROSE wrote this song.... genius & talented..
In my opinion the last scene that she is floating means when she realized that everything she needs is on the ground, all she needs is being herself her real Roseanne a simple girl not a being superstar or fame so once she realized that all those stuffs she has been enlightened, so then she is floating like her mind is set free without obligation.
Rosé also participated in writing her solo songs. She's really incredible. For Jisoo, she is yet to release an official solo song. She has good song covers though, such as Clarity! You can look it up. She performs it live during their concerts/tours. Her first official solo project (while the other members dropped their solo music projects) was the KDrama, 'Snowdrop' where she played as the female lead. But as for a music project, she's yet to release one, most likely after the tour. Oh and if you want more of the pinks vocal, I highly recommend their group cover of the song Sure Thing! Jisoo doesn't have a solo yet but it's expected that she'll release hers after Born Pink Album (hopefully). The only solo project she had was a tv series (Snowdrop) she had the lead role, you should check it out too.
Through this song, Rosé entered the Guinness Book of Records by becoming the FIRST person to top the Billboard Global 200 chart both as a soloist and as a part of a group (Blackpink-Lovesick Girls).
Yeah she's a genius, SHÉ WROTE THIS SONG and the fact that it has a story about herself from being on the ground (not an idol) to being an idol/super star. This is not just a SONGS shé WROTE it is also a STORY of her own self. It's about being humble.💗

It’s crazy how she says that what she needs is on the ground and in the end she floats away from the field of roses, sort of like saying that she no longer belongs or is roseanne because she’s already rosé now

I know others have probably already said this, but English is her first language having been born in New Zealand and grown up in Australia. Her Korean name is Park Chaeyoung, her English name is Roseann Park. Her friends and family call her Rosie, but her stage name is pronounced Ro-zay. She tried out at YG auditions in Sydney at the urging of her father and beat out over 700 other participants to become a YG trainee. Supposedly Jisoo should have something coming soon, maybe the beginning of the year from rumors I've seen. She has done some covers. I really love her cover of Yuki No Hana, and also her cover of Clarity (which she wrote the Korean parts to).
Ji-soo dosen't have her solo song yet ~~ and the company Y.G. said that her solo project will be coming out later .. so we are very excited to wait for her own !!! you are lucky to witness that moment together since you are a newbe blink lol
This song is ROSÉ singing for ROSEANN( her old self ) the line that every minute without you i regret it , its all the things she ddnt have the chance to expirience due to training hard to be a star , and " just to buy a house so far from me now" its her moving to korea to train in YG from Australia where she lived. That's why she wrote rosé in the mirror when its still bright with lights , and when everything turns off , shes back from bieng Roseann . this song is dedicated for her self, cleaver rosé😁
As for Jisoo, no original solo song yet (its in the works though), but she performed covers like Clarity or Yuki No Hana during Blackpink Shows and also had the female lead role in the K-Drama "Snowdrop" (which would make like the Netflix Blackpink Documentation "Light Up The Sky" good patreon content).

Even though imma hard-core lisa biased and love all the moments equally...rose is something else. I just love being an ot4, I understand 4 different girls...they all sound and ARE different in person. All the four girls love what they are doing it right now, but rose is WAY MORE into music..she is musician of the group. Let me give you a quick overview. Jennie: Initially she wasn't really into music but thought of becoming a singer during her preteen like 14 or 15 all of a sudden out of the blue. As she is talented she got into the audition and survived the harsh trainy days for years. Jisoo: Initially she wanted to become an actor and she auditioned for acting but as she was offered for being a trainy, she took the opportunity and survived the harsh trainy days for years. She was really into acting a lot. Lisa: She is the dancer of the group, she is the example of "HARDWORK PAYS OFF"..she was really into dancing like crazy. She started to dance when she was such a kid. She spent her childhood days listening to kpop and had the dream of becoming a kpop idol at such a young age. And she started grinding for it at such a young age. She had such a great passion for dancing just like how rose has for music. Rose: As I've told before she is the musician of the group, she has such a great passion for music and respects it a lot. She always makes extra time for music even though music is her career. She makes extra time for music in the sense, making time for coming up with her own music, lyrics, covering different artist's songs. She has a great creativity. Jisoo, jennie, lisa were not completely into music when they were young except for rose but have developed their passion towards it. They have developed their skills to became a rapper and a singer. All the four girls are MAD talented. I mean that's why they get to debut.

One of the things you need to get used to with following a YGE artist is disappointment- releases delayed, promises not fulfilled, talent wasted. Blackpink are six years into their career and they only have less than 30 original songs. For Rosé’s release we were promised a mini album and only got two songs + instrumentals. Both albums have only eight songs, mostly under three minutes each and they only barely meet the definition of an album (7+ songs and a run time of over 22 minutes)- they only fill little over half a vinyl LP each. Jisoo’s solo will be a single and will only just squeak out in time to meet their promise to give her a solo before their contract renewals come up next year. A lot of Blinks are worried that she won’t get one like Minzy of 2NE1 didn’t before their contract ended, and Minzy decided not to renew, contributing to their disbandment. 2NE1 also only had two albums and there is a dread of history repeating with Blackpink. The more likely answer is that the opportunity to act in Snowdrop came up in the time slot that her solo was to be scheduled in (after Lisa’s) and then the timing didn’t work as she hadn’t committed to a direction for the project when that window closed before album preparations began.
She uses 2names Park Chayoung IS her Korean Name but her Dad IS from Australia she was Born in Australia Had lived ther was raised to New Zealand and was there by the YG Audition she can 3 or 4 languages perfectly but her Aussie aczent you hear in her interviews

She's super talented in the music industry
She born in New Zealand, raised in Australia but korean is her "first" language because she only spoke Korean at home with her family before going to school. She lives in Australia and studied English hard at school like everyone else.
I think she deserves praise because she is good at many languages.
What's more impressive is Rosé also take part in writing the songs on her solo mini album debut
Next.. Playing with fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
N Love to hate me
N more.
Thanks from Thailand 🔥🔥🔥
This is Rose' projecting her current songs 5:25 she is standing on the staircase to heaven showing you the way, one year later, in Typa Girl, She said Heavens gate just open up, She was showing us the way all this time. lol
some other songs Rose' did were on "SEA OF HOPE" most of them are english covers, solos and duets. Alicia Keys, Paramore, Jason Marz to name a few.
but my favorite is a cover of BOB cover NOT FOR LONG, just a quick showcase, th-cam.com/video/ALuR_NPn6Qs/w-d-xo.html
as for Jisoo, she mentioned in an interview a few months ago, she is not sure which way she should push her solo song, so she has not done it yet. she is interested in acting, and thus she made a mini series "SNOWDROP" which you can watch on Disney+. when she figures out which direction she wants to push her solo project, we will all know. so we just have to be patient.
깊이가 있는 로제~🌹
After again listening otg, I realised how good this song is absolutely beautiful... I say it's same level as hard to love 🔥
Rosés vocals are Powerful, luxurious and Clear.
Actually it is not so. Korean is her first language. When she was young, she studied English hard at school while living with her family in Australia like everyone else. I think she deserves praise because she is good at many languages and has always worked hard.

This is hands down my favorite solo project from all the girls from blackpink.
My favorite also Mynch.
You should watch a live performance of this song. The coreo is beautiful and she sounds exactly like the record
You NEED to react to Rosé's Viva La Vida Cover! She's INSANE!
If you want more Rose, please check out her "Sea of Hope" live performances. Several awesome performances there.
As for Jisoo, she the lead actress of "Snowdrop" D-Drama and she just won Best Actress for it. And her live performances of
"Clarity" and "YUKI NO HANA (SNOW FLOWER) | 2018 ARENA TOUR [IN KYOCERA DOME] OSAKA"
QUEEN OF VOCAL 😍😍😘😘
She's just a angel we love you Rose`
Rosé so pretty 😍😍😍😍
Jisoo doesn't have a solo yet but she has done solo stages during their world tour. You can check out Yuki No Hana and Clarity.
It's here th-cam.com/video/_7TMluHVx4Y/w-d-xo.html Let them amaze you with their precious vocals!
English is her first language! It's what she grew up speaking having been born in New Zealand and growing up in Australia.
but Korean is the first language she knows
Korean is her first language .she learnt korean from her parents.she live in autralia and studied English hard at school like everyone else. I think she deserves praise because she is good at many languages.

You should check out Rosé's covers it'll make you cry. She covered the Christmas Song and I've been listening to it as if its not a Christmas song. Jisoo doesn't have a solo yet but it's expected that she'll release hers after Born Pink Album (hopefully). The only solo project she had was a tv series (Snowdrop) she had the lead role, you should check it out too.
the dance perfirmance of this song is even better
I've been waiting for this reaction 😍🔥✨🤍
this song is so deep !! and incredibly fireeee !!!
Rosé's voice you cannot deny it..its soothing and storytelling and angelic but also powerful❤️
Jisoo solo will probably be after world tour but she has sung "Clarity" on first World tour of Blackpink
Rosé voice so beautiful ❤️
Always supporting the channel and love the BP reactions but my guy complimenting her on her English isn't really doing much she was born in Australia lol, the language there is English. she's a native English speaker, if anything Korean is her second language. That being said this song was super unexpected for me when it came out, she absolutely carried it and killed it. Keep up the goo work sir.
correction, she was born in new zealand and lived in australia
He probably didn’t catch that she’s Aussie ^^ but I’m sure he will eventually haha
Born in New Zealand, raised in Australia from age 7 or 8. She considers herself to be Australian.
i giggled cause of that lmao
It's sweet how excited he gets to see their English, but yeah, you're right. English is basically Rosé's first language.
I love this song ❤️🔥
Rosé our angel
One of the my favorite BP songs including solo stuff
Reaction Agreed 💯
Rosé my queennn 🖤💗
Jisoo doesnt have any solo projects yet. She might release it next year. U can check out her cover songs if u want like clarity which she performed during concerts
It’s crazy how she says that what she needs is on the ground and in the end she floats away from the field of roses, sort of like saying that she no longer belongs or is roseanne because she’s already rosé now
ROSÉ is vocally and visually gorgeous ❤🔥❤🔥She captures you with the color and emotions her vocals carry. More reaction to her please

Rosé’s native language is English! 🤣🤣🤣
Korean is the first language she knows .Korean is her first language .she learnt korean from her parents. When he was young, she live in autralia and studied English hard at school like everyone else. I think she deserves praise because she is good at many languages.

@@himilkminh3529 thank you for clarification 🖤💖🖤💖
I love Rosé ❤
Jisoo will have a solo album after this. Waiting to follow.
Dance performance On the ground now
Ji-soo dosen't have her solo song yet ~~ and the company Y.G. said that her solo project will be coming out later .. so we are very excited to wait for her own !!! you are lucky to witness that moment together since you are a newbe blink lol
Nació en NZ y creció en Australia, claro que va a hablar muy bien el ingles😅😅
This song is ROSÉ singing for ROSEANN( her old self ) the line that every minute without you i regret it , its all the things she ddnt have the chance to expirience due to training hard to be a star , and " just to buy a house so far from me now" its her moving to korea to train in YG from Australia where she lived. That's why she wrote rosé in the mirror when its still bright with lights , and when everything turns off , shes back from bieng Roseann . this song is dedicated for her self, cleaver rosé😁
Rosé, like the wine
As for Jisoo, no original solo song yet (its in the works though), but she performed covers like Clarity or Yuki No Hana during Blackpink Shows and also had the female lead role in the K-Drama "Snowdrop" (which would make like the Netflix Blackpink Documentation "Light Up The Sky" good patreon content).
Rosé co-wrote her both song On The Ground and Gone.
No Jisoo does not a solo project yet, but I think it will be coming soon
I watched "Light Up the Sky" on Netflix again last night. You should check it out. It's a reader's digest version of their story.
ROSE grew up in Australia. That's why she is so fluent in English.
Rose' is born in New Zealand grew up in Australia. For now Jisoo does not have a solo song or album as of yet, She kinda hinted at the title being in the Video Shut Down
She was born in New Zealand, of course her English is flawless.
She's talking to her old self in the MV, her past version when younger
Jisoo is yet to have a solo project hopefully this year. But she sang some solo tracks. Watch her performance of Yuki No Hana from their Japan concert. She sang like an angel there
OTG is good, I mean very good. But after you hear sea of hope covers, then Hard to love, you will find that she has been constantly improving her vocal skills at a staggering speed! The success she will have in the future is truly limitless!
Jennie:
Initially she wasn't really into music but thought of becoming a singer during her preteen like 14 or 15 all of a sudden out of the blue. As she is talented she got into the audition and survived the harsh trainy days for years.
Jisoo:
Initially she wanted to become an actor and she auditioned for acting but as she was offered for being a trainy, she took the opportunity and survived the harsh trainy days for years. She was really into acting a lot.
Lisa:
She is the dancer of the group, she is the example of "HARDWORK PAYS OFF"..she was really into dancing like crazy. She started to dance when she was such a kid. She spent her childhood days listening to kpop and had the dream of becoming a kpop idol at such a young age. And she started grinding for it at such a young age. She had such a great passion for dancing just like how rose has for music.
Rose:
As I've told before she is the musician of the group, she has such a great passion for music and respects it a lot.
I mean that's why they get to debut.
her english is flawless because shes literally born and raised in new zealand. look up "rose english" and youll see she has that accent
Yeah but Korean is the first language she knows
Korean is her first language .she learnt korean from her parents. When he was young, she live in autralia and studied English hard at school like everyone else. I think she deserves praise because she is good at many languages.

ummm, her english is good cause she was born in New Zeland and lived in Australia lmao
Watch the netflix documentary she keep talking about it.
She uses 2names Park Chayoung IS her Korean Name but her Dad IS from Australia she was Born in Australia Had lived ther was raised to New Zealand and was there by the YG Audition she can 3 or 4 languages perfectly but her Aussie aczent you hear in her interviews
Her solos are coming but she has a bunch of covers that I recommend like clarity and a bunch others
hello! The correct pronunciation is Rosè. Jisoo hasn't had a solo debut as a singer yet, she's only done covers. There are rumors that the debut will do so within a year.
Gone - rose’
Why pick a favorite? Just enjoy the music.
Btw, her real name is Roseanne Park (aka) Park Chaeyoung. Born in Auckland, New Zealand, and grew up in Australia.
She wrote this song as well as another single - Gone, which is a song about heartbreak.
Hello SauceyDad! Im Do from the Netherlands, I discovored your channel yesterday trough blackpink and ive now watched all your kpop and knox hill videos! I myself didnt expect to like kpop but now a few years later i enjoy it a lot. I have a group that I think you really like! They are called Everglow, and i recommend the songs Dun Dun and First! I hope youlle consider reacting to them, and i hope you will continue the queens called blackpink! Late congrats with 30K!
Please react to “Hard to Love” from Born Pink album
You need to watch their netflix documentary on your own time ☺️
You need to hear rosé next solo song 'Gone'.
I definitely like this song better than "Gone", plus it's all in english, so I don't have to try to read captions. Jisoo does indeed have a solo, namely "Habits". I'll be waiting for your reaction to it.
React to their netflix documentary, Light Up the Sky, its good way to know more about them.
[Playlist] Rosé (로제) - Sea Of Hope Collection (바라던 바다 모음)
She was born in new Zealand and move to Australia that's why shes fluent in English
Jennie blackpink "solo"
Jisoo do not have any solo but check out Yuki No Hana, which is a traditional (Japanese song) sang by Jisoo live at their concert in Japan.
