Im gonna start this build tmrrow, now with armory it is good to have 2 builds, one for speed farming like dance of knives and one for boss killing... fantastic..10/10 this season.

Came from Dance of Knives to this. Got the bare bones of the build so this feels a bit clunky at the moment so im using DoK to farm better gear. But this definitely helps me see where im going wrong and how to fix it. Great video!
I'm currently paragon about 250. After hundreds of boss runs and many coaches gambled still no shroud of false death. You didn't mention it but I've found success in shroud of kanduras until then. The ranks to dark shroud and non physical damage are great. Just a recommendation for anyone who wants to try it.
I also forgot the immune for 3 seconds. No cooldown on dark shroud makes you always immune with the exception of the small amount of time in between casts. Honestly shroud of kanduras should be more considered for BIS chest piece.
I wish there was a bit more progression related stuff for witchcraft and occult gems in the guide. It is kinda funny but also quite sad - I'm not sure I'm even gonna get to legendary occult gems this season before I burn out, I'm not a fast player, I'm only about 150 paragon I think, but I'm preparing to move up to torment 4 now, I think the only problem I have is survival but I'm working on it, yet I have only found 2 heads total, and just today got my first occult gem, just a regular first tier occult gem, I also have only found 2 altars to unlock more stuff, and as a result don't have aura specialization. I think they're gonna end up making the witchcraft progression significantly faster at some point because this is just ridiculous.
Great video!! I've been playing around with "Rain of Arrows" ever since I found the Word of Hakan and it's been working well!! Quick question though... since I'm able to cast the ultimate fairly frequently, I ended up putting the "+ to Ultimate Damage" on my gear. I'm around PIT 60 now, but will that be worse in the long run than "+ to Distant Enemies"?
@youthfulspirit_ damage vs distance scales with rain of arrows rank 5 perk. Ultimate damage is just additive, so interestingly enough it's a much worse stat to have.

i run way better with the beastboots + barrage setup where i have to pay attention to my precicion stacks (cast one barrage at the start so every second hail of arrow cast has the precicion buff on it) but i love the paragon board
In the tryhard mode, Is the legendary power of beastfall boots critical for builds? intense as a percentage of the damage of the legendary power or am I only interested in having that after using an ultimate skill the next core skill consumes all the resource? because I found a beastfall boots with GA on resources and cooldown of the ultimate, but with 0.40% legendary power bonus
Hey, I really like your Guide. Its well written and easy to understand! Playing your build since season start and its fun to play. I´ve got a question regarding the gloves tho. I was pretty lucky and dropped 4 GA Grasp of Shadow gloves with max rolled aspect. They seem to fit the build pretty nice since you almost always double cast ROA. But there seems to be a bug with them that the + to marksman and cutthroat skills doesnt really apply to anything. So basicly I am losing up to 100%x dmg after 9 casts of ROA but gain one extra ROA cast with each cast +355%+(2xMasterworked)Ultimate dmg + 5skills to ROA (since it is a marksman skill) [Even if i dont know why my skilltree doesnt show the +5] - In conclusion: I dont see any downsides in using grasp of shadow but maybe I am missing something out. Im not too much in theory crafting. Thanks for the build and have a great day! Edit: Figured out that the +5 only appear outside the city. Stupid me.
@tiphorius9012 ive tried grasp of shadows. Since it's just a chance for it to cast something, it's really inconsistent. Then they can also cast heartseeker and other things, so you never know when they'll actually get around to mimicking your rain of arrows. It felt pretty bad. I do plan on giving it a go again on live (my test was during ptr), so maybe they could have adjusted some things since then. Oh, and the clone doesn't get the skyhunter double cast bonus, so when they do cast, it's only one wave.

What are your thoughts on using Pitfighters Gull. With smoke grenade, stealth, and the damage multiplier from stealth it seems better than anything you’d give up. Also, running just barrage and RoA, you should proc Precision on every other RoA without having to use a basic skill to create stacks. With that said, the Shard version is great while you’re trying to get the optimal gear.
Thought about that ring, but man that style is clunky and you're forced to stand in the cloud, which is terrible for anything outside of hardcore pushing. This is meant to be an all rounder, I have the ultra tryhard variant for those that don't mind the clunks. As far as beastfall boots/barrage, I explain this in great detail and showcase the pros and cons of that rotation towards the backend of the video. Check it out.

Hey. I tried the build from Maxroll and and I have the uniques but when I can only cast Rain of Arrows and start to cast Heartseeker, Im sooo out of resources, yours replenish so fast. Have I missed something?

I'm planning to build it, right now I'm playing barrage. But When I see the stuff part it's not only that u need specific items it's that you also need specific stats on those item. So I dont know if this build can be called endgame but ultra endgame instead, I'll try tho but it seems like you need your exact stuff to make the build work.
I have MASSIVE energy problems. I cast my RoA and shoot some Heartseeker to reduce cooldown for RoA, but I can't shoot enough HS to completely reduce cooldown for RoA cuz energy is empty.
@@donnyxgsqd3846 Yes, my CDR for Arrow Storm was not reduced enough. In addition i switched from Heartseeker to Barrage. In combination with Beastfall boots and max energy 150 i only need 1 shot with barrage to use Arrow Storm again. BUT with Barrage you have to maintain a certain rotation to get the 3 precision stacks for maximum damage. Bro explains it at the end of this video
Having some trouble capping armor, im around 700 right now. Need to get 2 more occult gems however, any other tips? Just using incense right now to get to armor cap
@BanneYetAgain other than just having the stats recommended (armor % on pants, armor stat rolls). Keep in mind your armor goes up as you masterwork work your gear naturally, so if you're let's say 4/12 masterwork on helm/chest/pants, then you'll naturally have lower armor. Throw some skulls in the slots that don't have occult gems too.
@@DiEoxidE Yup, i somehow forgot about that! a lot of my pieces were masterworked, so getting them all to 4/12 at least has me at around 900. so ill get there eventually, ty!
Stopped using a basic skill at all with the inner sight choice as rogue and got Hella bonuses to all imbuements as a flurry rogue. I constantly get unlimited resource so I figured no use on the primary skills cause resource is there. My question is most importantly is it worth having 16/5 on poison and dark imbuements. Shid my cold Imbuement is still up there too with no points invested. I feel the barrier loading and running rain of arrows cause it also benefits from the imbuements
Im building a rogue right now and following this, I like these fast builds that speed rip through everything. I built the blood wave necro this season and I hate to say it but i find it sluggish and boring. Spiritborn was a blast last season

Do you think a physical barrage build with shadow clone will be viable end game? I’m leveling with it and it’s fun. Currently in T2. Shadow clone isn’t as stupid when it can spam barrage across the whole screen
This makes me want to do Rain of Arrows. I'm on DoK for the first time and loving it as well. About to use that shiny new Armory:) Why is Cowl BIS over the usual Shako?
So wanna start out by saying, you're the reason I loved arrow rouge in season 6. I may even build one for season seven after wolf pack druid. However why are you not using damage per dark shroud temper? I presume its additive with damage to distance, but I think it scales way harder. Love the build in general, but I think damage per shroud is an improvement.
We temper Damage vs Distant Enemies on gear due to our rank 5 Rain of Arrows Bonus giving us 80% of our Damage vs Distant Enemies stat as a separate multiplier on Rain of Arrows itself. This is a very powerful bonus. In short, damage vs distant becomes a multiplier for rain of arrows, which is far better than any additive damage you could get.
@DiEoxidE wait, both damage vs distance is multiplicative? Cos regardless of what additive source you add (damage vs distance tempered or damage per shroud) the gear (or from rain of arrows) damage to distance will still remain multiplicative
How come you don't put a point into either countering dark shroud or subverting dark shroud? It seems like a lot of other endgame rogue builds don't either. Thanks!
@maurohero980 technically yes. They both achieve the same thing, which is to get your resistances capped. It's just a stop gap until you get the boots you really want.
What's the benefit to using Verathiel and Heartseeker over Beastfall Boots and a Core like Barrage? I'm still finalizing my gear, but I typically only have to hit one Barrage to remove the CD on Ultimate, but I feel like I'm missing something because the Maxroll guide also says to use Versthiel and Heartseeker.
using barrage and ult can invert your precision output, so to stop the inversion and get your max dps for ROA, use heartseeker instead, it works the same, a lil slower but you get precision on ROA every time
@csabapaska7937 both cowl and crown offer more than what heir can bring, both in damage and utility. Also, i talk about beastfall boots many times throughout the video.
Ok cant find anything anywhere with this runeward combo. 1:1 roa build although can work with other builds. PocQax rune. So spend 400% of max resource means your next non- basic cast spends all resource to deal 100% damage on next cast. So because core skill barrage is whats procing beastfall to spend the resouce then that guarantees every 4th roa hits for 100% damage, for an average of 25% increase in damage? Higher than using warcry rune?
I don't know why the internet believes you can't play both games :). The season theme itself is actually a good time. I also play both and will continue to rotate to whichever has the freshest content/patch update.

Just one thing. Your paragon on maxroll is different than in the video. You got headhunter and devious on the different boards. Thx again for the video ;) One question: in the rotation with barrage sometimes my rain of arrows won't completely reduce the cooldown, it would sometimes stay at like 3 seconds. Why is that ? I have 97 % cdr on the amu and 22 % cdr on the beasfall boots.
Ya, someone else caught me on that too. Go with what's on the planner. If you're going the beastfall route, make sure you're using Resourceful elixir like last season to hit 150 energy. This will solve your issue.
@katooni1134 you don't have GA on cooldown on word of hakan. Spoke about it in video. You'd want to roll ultimate cooldown on ring if you don't have GA on amulet cooldown.
I had the same issue. On the character screen, between "Abilities" and Character, you will find the Specialization tab, Make sure the Specialization is Preparation and not the default Combo. slight overlook but got me as well.
Once you have a GA roll on Rain of Arrows cooldown on Word of Hakan, you are CDR capped and can't lower the cooldown anymore from stats, making shako significantly weaker than the other helms. However, if you like it, then for sure go for it.
I have the setup with the Shard of VeraTheil sword and I am not getting any speeding up of CDR with Rain of Arrows at all. My rain of arrows is at a 9.5 sec CD, due to Amulet, but the it just stays at 9.5 sec was regardless if i use the sword or not. Only issue with this build is the 9sec CD. Any suggestions of what's the issue?
@RadCamper you have to spend energy for preparation to reduce the ultimate cooldown further. So basically just shoot heartseeker and cooldown will lower as you spend energy.
@@DiEoxidE I found that I was using the combo instead of Preparation. First time playing Rogue. After that fix, RoA is down to 3 sec, THANKS and great video.
If you have a 40 second cooldown on rain of arrows, you either don't have word of hakan amulet (build does not work without it) and/or you don't have 5 skill points in rain of arrows.
@@JJ-is4wm GA on rain of arrows cooldown on word of hakan makes a world of difference. I mentioned this in the video. If you don't have a GA word of hakan on cooldown, then it's best to roll rain of arrows cooldown on one ring, also mentioned in video 😀
Get flurry it's much more simple. 3x Heartseeker (builds up Precision) Flurry (activates Beastfall Boots) Dark Shroud (activates Danse Macabre) Rain of Arrows REPEAT
@tlgdasboot222 i see. I misread on my phone. My apologies. For sure you can do that. This would more closely resemble the tryhard variant, but with Flurry instead. Flurry also has a longer animation, but I can totally see it.

Since your cooldowns are non existent the dodge pop is pretty nice in t100+ pits.

Looks like to you just changed the Unique Witch Power in the Maxroll guide from Vengeful Spirit Servant, to The Cycle. Do you feel that one is better?

@_Dr.Gene_ beastfall boots is only worn to consume energy quickly. The unique affix value doesn't matter.
I just build my own rain of arrows build yesterday but im sure this one is way better 😂

@leandronunes1826 ultimate damage is additive. Distant damage becomes a new multiplier for rain of arrows at rank 5.
What do You think about Godslayer instead of Nameless?
Nameless is just waaay too strong, and crown is BiS for speedfarming.

I'm planning to build it, right now I'm playing barrage. But When I see the stuff part it's not only that u need specific items it's that you also need specific stats on those item. So I dont know if this build can be called endgame but ultra endgame instead, I'll try tho but it seems like you need your exact stuff to make the build work.

I have MASSIVE energy problems. I cast my RoA and shoot some Heartseeker to reduce cooldown for RoA, but I can't shoot enough HS to completely reduce cooldown for RoA cuz energy is empty.

@@donnyxgsqd3846 Yes, my CDR for Arrow Storm was not reduced enough. In addition i switched from Heartseeker to Barrage. In combination with Beastfall boots and max energy 150 i only need 1 shot with barrage to use Arrow Storm again. BUT with Barrage you have to maintain a certain rotation to get the 3 precision stacks for maximum damage. Bro explains it at the end of this video

Having some trouble capping armor, im around 700 right now. Need to get 2 more occult gems however, any other tips? Just using incense right now to get to armor cap
@BanneYetAgain other than just having the stats recommended (armor % on pants, armor stat rolls).
Keep in mind your armor goes up as you masterwork work your gear naturally, so if you're let's say 4/12 masterwork on helm/chest/pants, then you'll naturally have lower armor.
Throw some skulls in the slots that don't have occult gems too.

Stopped using a basic skill at all with the inner sight choice as rogue and got Hella bonuses to all imbuements as a flurry rogue. I constantly get unlimited resource so I figured no use on the primary skills cause resource is there. My question is most importantly is it worth having 16/5 on poison and dark imbuements. Shid my cold Imbuement is still up there too with no points invested. I feel the barrier loading and running rain of arrows cause it also benefits from the imbuements

I always find Rogue the most squishy among other classes, but I might give a thought of rolling one in this season. Hmmm.
So wanna start out by saying, you're the reason I loved arrow rouge in season 6. I may even build one for season seven after wolf pack druid.
However why are you not using damage per dark shroud temper? I presume its additive with damage to distance, but I think it scales way harder. Love the build in general, but I think damage per shroud is an improvement.
We temper Damage vs Distant Enemies on gear due to our rank 5 Rain of Arrows Bonus giving us 80% of our Damage vs Distant Enemies stat as a separate multiplier on Rain of Arrows itself. This is a very powerful bonus.
In short, damage vs distant becomes a multiplier for rain of arrows, which is far better than any additive damage you could get.
@DiEoxidE wait, both damage vs distance is multiplicative? Cos regardless of what additive source you add (damage vs distance tempered or damage per shroud) the gear (or from rain of arrows) damage to distance will still remain multiplicative

In standard version (not tryhard) i think that raknaroth boots are a good item. Better then yen blessin... i'm wrong?
@maurohero980 technically yes. They both achieve the same thing, which is to get your resistances capped.
It's just a stop gap until you get the boots you really want.

What's the benefit to using Verathiel and Heartseeker over Beastfall Boots and a Core like Barrage? I'm still finalizing my gear, but I typically only have to hit one Barrage to remove the CD on Ultimate, but I feel like I'm missing something because the Maxroll guide also says to use Versthiel and Heartseeker.

using barrage and ult can invert your precision output, so to stop the inversion and get your max dps for ROA, use heartseeker instead, it works the same, a lil slower but you get precision on ROA every time
using barrage and beastfall boots also works great for faster rain of arrow span (ouo)b

Ok cant find anything anywhere with this runeward combo. 1:1 roa build although can work with other builds. PocQax rune. So spend 400% of max resource means your next non- basic cast spends all resource to deal 100% damage on next cast. So because core skill barrage is whats procing beastfall to spend the resouce then that guarantees every 4th roa hits for 100% damage, for an average of 25% increase in damage? Higher than using warcry rune?

I don't know why the internet believes you can't play both games :). The season theme itself is actually a good time. I also play both and will continue to rotate to whichever has the freshest content/patch update.

One question: in the rotation with barrage sometimes my rain of arrows won't completely reduce the cooldown, it would sometimes stay at like 3 seconds. Why is that ? I have 97 % cdr on the amu and 22 % cdr on the beasfall boots.
Ya, someone else caught me on that too. Go with what's on the planner.
If you're going the beastfall route, make sure you're using Resourceful elixir like last season to hit 150 energy. This will solve your issue.

I had the same issue. On the character screen, between "Abilities" and Character, you will find the Specialization tab, Make sure the Specialization is Preparation and not the default Combo. slight overlook but got me as well.

My rain of arrow cooldown is 23 second how can I lower the base cooldown?

hey i fit in shako for DR and CDR + armor and life
Once you have a GA roll on Rain of Arrows cooldown on Word of Hakan, you are CDR capped and can't lower the cooldown anymore from stats, making shako significantly weaker than the other helms.
However, if you like it, then for sure go for it.
I have the setup with the Shard of VeraTheil sword and I am not getting any speeding up of CDR with Rain of Arrows at all. My rain of arrows is at a 9.5 sec CD, due to Amulet, but the it just stays at 9.5 sec was regardless if i use the sword or not. Only issue with this build is the 9sec CD. Any suggestions of what's the issue?
@RadCamper you have to spend energy for preparation to reduce the ultimate cooldown further.
So basically just shoot heartseeker and cooldown will lower as you spend energy.
@@DiEoxidE I found that I was using the combo instead of Preparation. First time playing Rogue. After that fix, RoA is down to 3 sec, THANKS and great video.

If you have a 40 second cooldown on rain of arrows, you either don't have word of hakan amulet (build does not work without it) and/or you don't have 5 skill points in rain of arrows.

Ultimate damage is additive. Emeralds (crit damage) scales multiplicatively with precision key passive and makes trick attacks even stronger.

Runes are quality of life, but not necessary. Can do this without the expansion
