Excellent flute playing but hey, let's not forget the pianist! He's done his time staring at little black dots on a page and translating them into a solid support and interactive partner for the guy getting all the credit! Wonderful crisp and lyrical piano playing. Great ensemble.
His taste, the cleanliness of the sound, the perfect undefinable between concrete matter and shapeless fluid which cannot be held in the hands because it runs right through the tiniest slivers, agility, enough shrillness in the high piques to make the aggression felt without being imposing, I cannot praise this playing enough even from the little I understand as a pianist with minimal experience working with flutists. On another note, interesting quotation and development of material from Dialogues des Carmélites in the second movement.
J'ai été impressionné par l'interprétation de Pahud de la Sonate de Poulenc. Génial! Je jouerai au récital la prochaine fois, donc je vais l'écouter plusieurs fois et étudier.
Jpr in french music??? Unbeatable! With Jpr it looks easy and so typically , non chalant ( like it schould sound! Pahud takes himself to seriously fot This! J Rampal said once : “ I only study on stage, so i keep my energy Like all great sportsmen too!!! Talent & genious & charm
It doesn`t get any better than this. Pahud has it all - wonderful sound and technique - plus depth, like no one else. He is a blessing to us.

True. But he or she plays undermined. Levels far to low.
It's Eric Lesage!

gaie, triste, mélancolique, mystérieuse, le tout à la fois ... musique incroyable de Poulenc.
The pianist is also amazing!

Wonderful music, light and melancholic. Is Eric Le Sage the pianist?
Very nice. I also love my performance of this piece to. My freshman year in college. Love this guy. BRILLIANT.
"to [sic]"? I assume that you will take Bonehead English in your freshman year.
@@autodidact2499 "I assume that will take"? It looks like you're going to be in his class.
