Your Mahogany neck is much lighter than mine. Especially the way they relic’d yours. My neck is worn about the same, but my neck is a lot darker than yours..No ding on my neck.

I have heard that they aged them all slightly differently. Does yours have any actual ‘dings’ in the back of the neck?
I am almost exclusively an acoustic player....but I have always wanted a 335 and this is a beauty! Congrats Aaron.

You need a pocket knife. I have this guitar in a 1973 version, w/Bigsby. I love it. Mine does still have the finish on it.
I think the relic job has some "must wear" areas that noels has but also some artistic libertys. So every guitar isn't the same relic

Sounds like someone hit the neck but with all the other paint flakes etc I can’t tell. Thanks for the heads up though.
