The it does it Automatically for you. It should be there if not check your Gauge Display Settings in the Dishoard
Be warned, This car does not come with a Spare Tire, not even a donut spare. If you get stuck out in the sticks, you are toast. Save yourself allot of grief and purchase a Spare tire kit from Honda parts for about $500.
Thats because it comes with a repair kit for tire. Seals and aira up to get you to shop or wherever
I had a 2009 Caddy CTS that did not have a spare. When I mentioned this to the salesman I was told I wouldn't need a spare in a million year because the car came with a can of foam that would fix any flat in a jiffy. I had the car a month when I ran over a piece of metal in the entrance ramp of a parking lot. It tore a hole in the sidewall of the tire. The foam was useless, it just sprayed out of the hole in the side of the tire. I had to call for a tow truck by pressing the Onstar button. 8 hours later the help finally arrived. They towed the car to a shop about 20 miles away and in the process did $3,000 of damage to the transmission. Please tell me again about the lack of a spare tire being a big nothing.
@9546aw what are chances of running over a big piece of metal ? Or having a hole that big. A lot of the time a flat is not caused by those things. Usually a nail or puncture. If someone was really concerned they could just buy a spare, but the kit is nice and you can even air up tires with it without foam.
The kit is a joke. Can you see yourself at the side of the interstate on a dark rainy night trying to fix a flat tire that has no jack, that has no spare. I suppose you can call the emergency number and be told to call tomorrow during normal business hours. And how common is doing damage to the sidewall of a tire? When I have gone to Mavis Discount Tire on more than one occasion to get a new tire after it has happened to me there is a line of people in front of me that had the same thing happen Why are you focused on a large piece of metal either lying in the road? Why does it have to be a big hole? Why are you being an apologist for one of the all-time stupid decisions by Honda?
@9546aw well, lets say you are someone who cant fix a tire. Like a young girl or someone who has never done it and just not comfortable jacking up their car. ANYONE can connect this hose to the tire, press a button and fill in the gap AND air it up and be on there way vs jacking up the car on side of road. Its not a cheap kit and get a little compressor to air up any tire anytime. I think you should appreciate more. Spare tires anyone can buy. Also, what are the chances of a blowout? Chances are it will be a nail or puncture.
