Yeah, it's why I dont get why people say they dislike his voice. When I first heard that, I was wondering what the heck was wrong with his voice but after hearing it, it was definitely a 'I don't see what they mean' moment for me. If anything, I love his voice.

Onew didn't get a lot of the climax but his voice was used a lot during the choruses. And because of the uniqueness of his voice, people associated his tone with SHINee. It's common to hear comments from non kpop fans who are exposed to kpop music via friends or family say, they know it's a SHINee song because they could pick out Onew's voice. Just yesterday, a friend's sister who is an exo-l, said that in their GC they were discussing DCM. They were saying, at first DCM didn't sound like a SHINee song but it became one as soon as Onew's voice came on.

Yeah, honestly, Shinee got a very different timbre of voice for each member. You could quickly tell the light & airy squad (onew, tea), the low voice of minho, or the more harsh tone of key. Idk if it's right for me to say that I'm so curious of where would Jjong lines be in this song, it's very different from what they've done before.. They've grown a lot......

Honestly, I don’t wanna imagine the difference. This album is full and vibrant with everyone having their best foot foreword. It, unlike the last album, sounds complete and is an evolution after everything that came before.

This may get buried, but Key has a whole album that basically covers a majority of his vocal range and tone. I think “I Wanna Be” or “One of Those Nights” would be good songs to listen to by him to get a clear sound of his voice.

According to a feed on twitter Minho has filmed for a role acting variety show with Key called painful date I think it will air soon and from that when Minho was asked what he's done after discharging from the military and it's said that he's been doing rythmic gymnastics in the morning and pole dancing in the evening.... so yes I do see a more fluidity in his dancing so could those extraxurrciular have helped? If I see this show I will see if his activties are discussed and get back to you on that.

Well, actually since they debuted Key is part of both the vocal and rap line and if you listen to their first albums Key was killing it along side Jonghyun and Onew. His voice fits so well with their initial r&b music. Over time, Taeminnie got so much better at singing and he got a lot more parts that allowed him to show off his skill and Key got more rap parts in their title tracks, but he's always been a great singer. Honestly, just like Jonghyun said, in SHINee all five are vocals.
That's really funny that he said Key didn't stand out much, I actually think his voice stood out the most in this song... These were both him singing 2:421:42 when Jeff complimented these parts. Idk, he just sounded so good in this and he also had the most lines. I'm just so happy all four of them stood out so much

SM really knows how to do longetivity and that's one thing I admired about them. It really feels so good to see my 2nd gen groups/artists still active and slaying the industry after so many years. SHINee is a contemporary band which means their concepts are always unique and out of the box. I literally grew up with them (i was 14 when I found out about them). This comeback has made me so incredibly emotional. Extremely happy that SHINee, who are my literal happiness, are back. But also very sad to be confronted with Jonghyun's death again. I hope more people will give attention to their music because they're the strongest group out there and deserve all the love in the world!
I'm so in love with this song and dance, I already know it's going to be in my Top 5 of 2021. I can't wait for the dance practice to come out, what we've seen so far just looks absolutely amazing. Shinee is my ult group since 2017, so I'm still more of a younger Shawol but this comeback exceeded my expectations. I'm so proud of them and thankful that they give us something to be excited about during these general hard times and personal hardships.
Shinee really has that unique vibe and genre of music, basically the reason why I stan them. They're music can only be perform perfectly and beautiful by them only.

I thought Key was heard a lot during this song due to his versatility. For Minho, I feel like you probably haven't seen much of his dancing capacity yet, that's why it seems like his best dancing here. Btw, he said it only took him something like 2 months to be used once again to his life before army (schedules, recording, practicing, etc.). I really think it's amazing how he was back in November only and already did so many things in not even 3 months (acting, SHINee comeback, a lot of variety shows... like a ton of them). He said his members helped him during this time but still, I am very impressed. I really can wait for the dance practice too!
Really loved their comeback too. Every single one of them is so prominent in it. Onew's voice is recognizable anywhere, Key is so swag I can't roll my eyes enough, Minho is really somehow better looking and better dancing (and sings so well :0), and Taemin shines. He really did accumulate all his Taeminness. His lines in the end stuck in my head forever.
It's the fact that this iconic grp debuted in 08... and is still serving visuals, and choreo, and vocals better than these younger grps. Shinee ain't getting old they getting seasoned n I'm here for it 🙌.

Actually, for someone familiar with SHINee's voices, Key's vocals are the most prominent in the song overall. And if you watch a line distribution video you'll see he actually has the highest % of lines in the song :)
It's just amazing how we are all absolutely awestruck by the whole MV and in their own SHINee's reaction video the boys are like: "Oh, we could have done this better..." Like.... Excuse me sirs, but this is an amazing art performance and you should see it too!!

if im not wrong about the part distribution, key got the most parts :D Key is the original definition of a triple threat. He can fill in any position in a group bc his singing, dancing, and rapping are all solid. If I were to describe Key's singing voice it is a lot more clear and maybe even clean? he has a very unique vocal color that you cant miss it. You may want to go check out his solo stuff too so you can hear his voice! I personally would recommend I Wanna Be!

SM really knows how to do longetivity and that's one thing I admired about them. It really feels so good to see my 2nd gen groups/artists still active and slaying the industry after so many years. SHINee is a contemporary band which means their concepts are always unique and out of the box.
I literally grew up with them (i was 14 when I found out about them).
This comeback has made me so incredibly emotional. Extremely happy that SHINee, who are my literal happiness, are back. But also very sad to be confronted with Jonghyun's death again.
I hope more people will give attention to their music because they're the strongest group out there and deserve all the love in the world!

I'm so in love with this song and dance, I already know it's going to be in my Top 5 of 2021. I can't wait for the dance practice to come out, what we've seen so far just looks absolutely amazing. Shinee is my ult group since 2017, so I'm still more of a younger Shawol but this comeback exceeded my expectations. I'm so proud of them and thankful that they give us something to be excited about during these general hard times and personal hardships.
Shinee really has that unique vibe and genre of music, basically the reason why I stan them. They're music can only be perform perfectly and beautiful by them only.

For Minho, I feel like you probably haven't seen much of his dancing capacity yet, that's why it seems like his best dancing here.
Btw, he said it only took him something like 2 months to be used once again to his life before army (schedules, recording, practicing, etc.). I really think it's amazing how he was back in November only and already did so many things in not even 3 months (acting, SHINee comeback, a lot of variety shows... like a ton of them). He said his members helped him during this time but still, I am very impressed.

Really loved their comeback too. Every single one of them is so prominent in it. Onew's voice is recognizable anywhere, Key is so swag I can't roll my eyes enough, Minho is really somehow better looking and better dancing (and sings so well :0), and Taemin shines. He really did accumulate all his Taeminness. His lines in the end stuck in my head forever.

If it's different and elevated, is shinee 💕 And oh taemin, a big part of the amazing reception this comeback is having is because of taemin and how he remained active during this years. I love how happy he's rn, ofc onew, minho and key too, and how that's showing in their performance.
Sorry to disagree, but a big part of the great reception of this cb is the fact that *SHINee* is back. This fandom and other 2nd gen fans would still have hyped them up just as much.

if im not wrong about the part distribution, key got the most parts :D Key is the original definition of a triple threat. He can fill in any position in a group bc his singing, dancing, and rapping are all solid. If I were to describe Key's singing voice it is a lot more clear and maybe even clean? he has a very unique vocal color that you cant miss it. You may want to go check out his solo stuff too so you can hear his voice! I personally would recommend I Wanna Be!
