Honestly brother I love the heczquarters but I’m always a strong believer in growing and changing and I feel like a chnage of scenery could be really good for the team and the head office place looks like a really good space to help separate their practice and lounge areas. In my opinion it’s refreshing to see . Plus there’s a lot more opportunity for content there. Always on you tho 💚

the current h3czquarters has a 6050 vibe, its the grassroots, down to earth, personal vibe that we've always loved about OpTic. I am not opposed to seeing growth and moving into a more professional setting, but I think it would take away from those feelings unless recreated there in the office. There is something about watching formals stream and hearing davis go crazy in the back that reminds me of watching scump nade and bigT in the bigroom of 6050. I love the growth but man you guys built something with the h3czquarters that is like the upgraded version of the original team house. It's like the only one that works and it's been inspiring all these years to witness it from the outside. It's like my dream environment to work in so i'd hate to see it go and no longer be an example
I’d say you move everything downtown Hector. Reasoning being having everyone in the business at one place only really has positive effects, all the different areas of Optic being able to interact daily e.g the Fuel team and Cod team. The only reason I see for keeping the old Heczquarters is the nostalgia effect but good things always come to an end eventually and you can make new fresh memories downtown.

If it's feasible, maybe make the downtown office a place for officials and team practices, and then the heczquarters a place for streaming/content. That way, players can focus in an official office, while still being able to get the family vibe of the heczquarters when they want to stream. Plus, it'll probably open up space to make some more sets in the heczquarters for content.
The HQ is nostalgic because it was a better atmosphere from that office building when you first arrived in Dallas. But downtown tho 👀 I’m in love the layout so far. It’s going to look crazy if it ever gets fully fleshed out as HQ 2.0

Downtown is sick!! However I do think that theres a special connection in Frisco. It’s more of a family vibe when everyone is hanging out in one huge room. After all, OpTic is one big FAMILY

HQ has a special place much like the other houses did, but as things grow and change so does the team. Would love to see everyone downtown in a professional, organized space as the content would take a whole step forward with that facility. As usual, it’s a team decision, but I think the facility could be a brand new journey for everyone.

I know it sounds cliché at this point but the HQ really works for content. I'm not sure if there's a place in the office space that delivers the same capabilities for recording from a multipurpose standpoint. With that being said, it would probably be best for the pro players to practice in a more *sophisticated* environment. I know you guys have tried super hard to convert the HQ into that when it needs to be, but the swap to a dedicated practice area separate from where they're lounging/chilling would be great for their mindset (I can only assume, gotta ask the players). Best answer is to continue to rent HQ for content purposes or find another suitable content area (garage mahal could work for some stuff?) alongside the office.
I think the moving of the HQ to the offices is all about the overall vibes and making it seem homey. The HQ became just that and it's nice to see everyone together all the time. However i think with everyone on the same page and comfortable with the move, those vibes and passion could definitely be replicated, as well as new memories being made in a different place. Kinda like the transition from 6050 to the Scuf house.. was a completely new environment but still made for some extremely good content and new vibes overall.

in my opinion the heczquarters is like home. the office feels exactly that like than office. I feel like the guys who stream at the HQ would not like the vibe as much in an office environment. Also people like dashy and formal mention how they love the HQ's vibe and how close it is to their apartments. When I see a video in the HQ or someones streaming from it, it just feels homey I cant explain it any other way.
dashy too comfy at the HQ (he almost got dropped in the off season btw) he constantly has people hovering behind him/walking back and forth or hitch is screaming for his own stream. He needs a change of scenery tbh.

The only thing I think should change is the cod team plays from the office.

The Downtown spot is amazing and has that professional vibe. I definitely think that the amount of content that is available to be made in the office and shown off would do really well. And the optic crew definitely know how to make a space feel less like an office and more of a creative space. But it’s what the player’s ultimately want.

However, based on the tour you gave in this VLOG, that space looks like it could be turned into a state of the art gaming/content creating office/lounge that few other organizations can compete with. Heczquarters has been great because it’s been loved by everyone as being a hangout spot where you can still get plenty of content made from. Moving to downtown could make it a little too formal and have less people showing up just to hangout and stream from. However there’s no problem with making changes and moving on, so do what you feel is best man. Sounds like a really tough call though

I mean, if y'all are planning on staying in the DFW area I feel like it would be better worth the money to build something in an area that would allow you to expand as you please and has access to high gig fiber. Could build a warehouse or something, get discounts from the different building companies by vlogging the building process and calling it an ad for that local building company. Demo ranch has done this a lot. Would love to see an OpTic compound that even had a merch store like the 100 Thieves compound. I mean I got ideas for days on this topic.

I think you should keep the HECZQUATERS space for sure. I think most team based activities will be of course in the office. Maybe stuff like media day/content can stay at the HQ. Orrr you move everything to the office and then change the HQ to a public merch shop if that's even possible. Regardless, I think both spaces can still be used efficiently.
I say move if there's a dedicated equal or bigger space than the heczquarters. Us as a viewer also like to see general operations of Optic and Envy and Fuel etc because we like that insight
Id say stay at hecz quarters and keep that a creative space/entertainment space and potentially make streaming pods for the creators, and the esports/job esc roles of OpTic move to the space youre in. it separates work from fun and separates content from job ish things. either way, big fan and love what yall are doing!

From the videos it seems that optic is outgrown the heczquarter. Maybe upscaling wouldnt be a bad idea

I think you should keep the HECZQUATERS space for sure. I think most team based activities will be of course in the office. Maybe stuff like media day/content can stay at the HQ. Orrr you move everything to the office and then change the HQ to a public merch shop if that's even possible. Regardless, I think both spaces can still be used efficiently.

I say move if there's a dedicated equal or bigger space than the heczquarters. Us as a viewer also like to see general operations of Optic and Envy and Fuel etc because we like that insight

Id say stay at hecz quarters and keep that a creative space/entertainment space and potentially make streaming pods for the creators, and the esports/job esc roles of OpTic move to the space youre in. it separates work from fun and separates content from job ish things. either way, big fan and love what yall are doing!

The office layout reminds me of Infinite days (scary) but if the content areas are separated enough it would be a place you can grow.
Optic will do great in the new location! But I think you should have a whole side of the office away from finance/lawyers if that makes sense? Good luck and I’d love to have that Predator setup in my house! That thing is pretty cool! Greenwall!
