- The New Yorker Cartoonist Amy Kurzweil will never read all three volumes and 1,928 pages of “On What Matters,” but she knows how to draw them.

A New Yorker Cartoonist Explains How to Draw Literary Cartoons | The New Yorker - บันเทิง
I love everything about this serie. The music, the editing, the style, the questions, the answers, colors. Everything. Please make more of these.
I love opening the newspaper and looking at the cartoons and illustrations.
The art style is so simple, yet amazing. I even cut them out and put them on my wall
Very impressive to learn how the thinking process has been creatively crafted into every bit of detail.
Everything about this is very relaxing. Also, as someone who got their MBA in the evenings while working at a major corporation, lol at the "Executive MFA"
Thanks for these. They're delightful.
I learned so much for my own comics
These are great. Thank you so much.
I love her pencil stub earrings!
Watching this eating dark chocolate late at night (excellent medicine)during COVID.
Love it !
thank you amy kurzweil
Makes me want to draw.
The bookstore one😂
Do it! It's good for the soul.
Excellent!
What type of paper do u use when creating ur cartoons?
Thank you
Her talking about the reading chair and then the biggest book is one they've never read and so on, super funny lol
Love these short insights to cartooning. One day... --KateColors
Anybody recognize the pen (or brush-pen) that she's using for her heavier lines? (like at 2:17 or 3:42 or 6:55 )?
Looks like a pentel pocket brush pen
@@medicinemouse7647 Thanks!!
Hey, I'm the producer and editor of this piece. Medicine Mouse is right, it's a Pentel brush pen. The fine line pen is a Copic Multiliner. Hope that helps!
I like the mouse she drew
I had high hopes for this one.
If you give a mouse a cookie, you just might get a new friend
Palomino Blackwing earrings? Dream girl.
The Mouse and The Motorcycle is Better than Stewart Little! Fight Me!
Ave been sending cartoons 2 The New Yorker 4 years w/ no luck. Ant pointers
That interviewers broken speech pattern is so weird is she a robot 🤖
The poetry of PowerPoint, the presenter looks like Gene Wilder
Remember to open your mouth a little wider next time!
These cartoons make me nose exhale
could you explain what MFA means to the world? We don't all live in your head. Cheers
I believe in this context, MFA => Master of Fine Arts...definitely not "Multi-Factor Authentication" ;-)
No one is talking about why is it always fast forward when she draws.
Step one: draw
I hope meet one good women american. I like to system women USA
Clickbait!
Why no use of color in these drawings? One splash of color would a great deal.
Probably because they are intended to be printed in a black and white publication.
...but Who is gonna explain it to her?
please

Blows my mind that there is so many “artists” out there that call themselves cartoonists yet their art is 6th grade looking crap
I took the 1st joke as Madeline the children's book/movies.
If people cannot get the joke, then it is not relatable which makes it a bad joke.
Just straight up high school level drawings. People need higher standards, not some middle class girl explaining why her art is good when you can look at it and see that it isnt
Great. Let us know when your cartoonists develop a sense of humor that isn't as dry as the Sahara.
Don't worry, there are decades of Garfields online for you to read.
While Garfield is funnier than a New Yorker cartoon, it's still unfunny. Any other suggestions for those of us unwashed masses that enjoy actual humor, elite one?
I’m two minutes in and realized neither of them understands they are educated beyond their intelligence.
@@burningdaylights If you weren't so sarcastic, maybe I would help you find the funny cartoon that's right for you.
this might not be your humor but it is a lot of other people's! this comment was rude
Mindless soundtrack ruins this.
