I’ll never understand why the most faithful believer of God was taken from me by cancer. I feel it was because of all the people my sister-in-law touched. Even in her treatments all over the states, she was praying to find someone she could help and minister to. The preacher at her funeral said we should have rented a stadium to accommodate all the people who showed up and had to view on screen. She was the best example I will even strive to be. Her daughter just had her first baby without her mom there, sometimes I just don’t understand but I understand.
I feel like almost every Christian goes through this at one point or another. To me it’s such a powerful song. It’s definitely my favorite of his songs 💗

I discovered this song a few months ago..I will say that I have listened to this song everyday. For someone not even in his thirty's yet..his songs are real, he speaks and writes from the heart and soul and minds for us that don't have a strong enough voice❤ I'll admit, I lost faith in my church but has always kept God in my heart. This song, almost helps me understand the Grace that we are all given.

When my 12 year old brother was murdered. He was just staying at his friends house and the friends moms ex came in and shot him and 3 other people. I have asked this question alot. Then in 2004 I had my son and he reminds me so much of my brother. And I was like ok I get it now. Thanks for reminding me of the good thi gd in life.
Love the sound of this singer!! Especially 'Rescue' which was the song which introduced me to Hunter Hayes.
The whole chorus in my opinion is so powerful because sometimes I feel like I'm a mistake.

Don't let go of Gods hands,he has so much in store for us,he never promised it would be easy,there wouldnt be mountains we have to climb,or valleys that would make us low,but he did promise he would be right beside us.We are always loved,and never alone.The power he openly gives in our words,as long as we accept him,we can move mountains,we can face demons,we can keep going,knowing where we are heading..I hope everyone is doing alright tonight!

Yes I used to ask him this question everyday, I know god doesn’t give you anything you can’t truly handle but sometimes it gets to the point that you can’t handle it and almost break, but sometimes after you break you come back 10x stronger

I actually heard this song through my friend and she really wanted me to listen to it and I found it on sing! karaoke and I sang it and posted it on youtube for her as for the message of this song in general: I love it because I have asked myself this question a few times especially when I am stuck in a situation in which I'm not sure which path I should take and I've recently had to start listening to my heart and figuring out what's best and I can only hope that what I chose is a good decision but I know I got someone behind my back and I'm grateful for that :)
