You know, I have actually had noticed this with so many celebrities. They hit the bottom and come out with a song that can be so emotional and personal either praising God or trying to understand why things are happening. A perfect example of this is Avril Lavigne with her new song Head Above Water. A beautiful song that really talks about God and prayer.

Robert Willetts Religion is completely different. I agree, I wouldn’t be able to have the relationship with God if religion was all it was. What you say fictional is your opinion just like I think the Big Bang and evolution is science fiction. Religion and relationship don’t go together. It’s always hard to explain this to people because Christianity is considered a religion to the secular but it’s so far from it.
It is necessary, we need to fall big to realize how much we need of God, and it's something to expect to feel angry with good when everything good we're doing goes in the wrong path and until we hit the bottom we realized there was nothing wrong with God but with that we chose, sometimes we want something good or do a good action but it wasn't the right time for it

Can’t believe it’s been two years already. When I first hear a song, I close my eyes and listen to it as loud as I can. With this one, I didn’t open my eyes for a solid fifteen minutes. I couldn’t. I broke down. It said everything I didn’t know how to say. I still use this song as my prayer from time to time, when life is getting hard and I just don’t know what to say. Thank you so much for everything you do and the music you write.
I honestly love the story behind this song as well, how it came about as a letter to the world. I love listening to that story. Writing- whether songs or just writing- is such a therapeutic thing.

I can slightly relate to this, but I believe my walk with Him is getting better. I just had to draw near to Him and He returned the favor by drawing near to me. A good point, but it was not for no reason. We are all sinners, and we cannot be redeemed without a sacrifice. Christ's death was the ultimate sacrifice so we could be saved. We alone could never have been holy enough to bring ourselves to God; through God sending His Son to die on the cross, God gave us the chance to be saved.

This is a very deep song because it portrays how most people see God. But it is not who God really is. God is not sending bad circumstances our way because He is mad or dissatisfied with us. God is the God of peace. Jesus is our prince of peace. Just because we suffer and go through hard times does not mean God sends them. That is not who He is. Life is hard and we live in a world full of sin. Sin causes hurt, brokenness and pain. It is not from God. God is good and like a father to those who follow Him. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour, we are covered with His blood that cleanses us from sin and the original intent and relationship of God for people, are restored. God is not responsible for bad things, but is right there to help and comfort us when we call out to Him and come to Him with a repentant heart. He will never show away anyone who comes to Him with a repentant heart. God is good, loving, merciful, forgiving and kind and is very patient, not wanting anyone to perish but all to come to salvation. The world is full of suffering because of sin, but Jesus is our only hope. He is the only one who can save, heal, rescue and deliver us. Only in Him is true love, freedom and peace found.

I’ve never related so much to a song. This is such a perfect description of my life as a Christian. Constantly trying to balance my faith with my circumstances. It’s not been an easy road, I try not to put my personal life on social media but... I’ve been having a really hard few weeks... there’s been a lot of things going wrong in my life lately and really the last few years of my life have tested my faith. I want to believe that God is looking out for me. I want to have perfect peace about every decision I make but the truth is, I don’t. Lots of times I feel worthless or stupid or ashamed. I try my best to be a good mom, sister, daughter, employee, leader, and most importantly, a follower of Christ... But I fail. I fail a LOT in my opinion. I’m impatient, I’m quick to judge, I can be lazy, I lead with my emotions more than my intelligence and I can be arrogant. I think that my ways are better (or at least faster) lots of times because I think I need immediate results... and I’m wrong 99% of the time. The other 1% I think God just wants me to get a win. Through all of my failures I choose to believe that God does still love me and Jesus died for me so that I don’t have to feel this way. But in this mess that is my life, I tend to forget that. I doubt Him and His miraculous abilities. I’m a work in progress and I’m going to continue to believe that God is on my side and I’m so Glad that He’s in control and not me. But it is definitely a daily battle inside of my mind.
Lauren Mosley i’ve struggled with the same things you have for about a year now. It’s so hard being a Christian whenever you want control so hard to think that you could let someone else control your life. I’m in a tough spot right now because I’m on a new medication that helps with my bipolar disorder. The only thing is the side effects, it affects my anxiety a lot right now. I just have to get through the first two weeks. Now I have to face not being able to talk to my therapist right away. I just want immediately release all the time, but I know I don’t get it all the time.

As a person who's a follower of Christ myself, I sometimes get into the habit of asking God "Why?" and falling into the trap of thinking its a sin to ask God those hard questions, but God doesn't make our problems go away, but He reunites with us in our suffering and I just find that so beautiful. All I can say Hunter is Thank You!!! I have struggled a lot with my serve anxiety and I was always questioning God and thinking I was never good enough. Thinking he messed up when he made me. But when this song came out I was extremely grateful for it. It made me stop and wonder does he really mess up. But he doesn't mess up at all. He makes us for who we are to come out stronger in the end. I am now trying to heal and move on from my anxiety. Even though I may have it still. Doesn't mean I have to struggle with it every day and God will help me through this journey. so I cant say thank you enough and express how grateful I am for it, Hunter.

This is a very deep song because it portrays how most people see God. But it is not who God really is. God is not sending bad circumstances our way because He is mad or dissatisfied with us. God is the God of peace. Jesus is our prince of peace. Just because we suffer and go through hard times does not mean God sends them. That is not who He is. Life is hard and we live in a world full of sin. Sin causes hurt, brokenness and pain. It is not from God. God is good and like a father to those who follow Him. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and saviour, we are covered with His blood that cleanses us from sin and the original intent and relationship of God for people, are restored. God is not responsible for bad things, but is right there to help and comfort us when we call out to Him and come to Him with a repentant heart. He will never show away anyone who comes to Him with a repentant heart. God is good, loving, merciful, forgiving and kind and is very patient, not wanting anyone to perish but all to come to salvation. The world is full of suffering because of sin, but Jesus is our only hope. He is the only one who can save, heal, rescue and deliver us. Only in Him is true love, freedom and peace found.

This is such a perfect description of my life as a Christian. Constantly trying to balance my faith with my circumstances. It’s not been an easy road, I try not to put my personal life on social media but...
I’ve been having a really hard few weeks... there’s been a lot of things going wrong in my life lately and really the last few years of my life have tested my faith. I want to believe that God is looking out for me. I want to have perfect peace about every decision I make but the truth is, I don’t. Lots of times I feel worthless or stupid or ashamed. I try my best to be a good mom, sister, daughter, employee, leader, and most importantly, a follower of Christ... But I fail. I fail a LOT in my opinion.
I’m impatient, I’m quick to judge, I can be lazy, I lead with my emotions more than my intelligence and I can be arrogant. I think that my ways are better (or at least faster) lots of times because I think I need immediate results... and I’m wrong 99% of the time. The other 1% I think God just wants me to get a win.
Through all of my failures I choose to believe that God does still love me and Jesus died for me so that I don’t have to feel this way. But in this mess that is my life, I tend to forget that. I doubt Him and His miraculous abilities.
I’m a work in progress and I’m going to continue to believe that God is on my side and I’m so Glad that He’s in control and not me. But it is definitely a daily battle inside of my mind.

It’s so hard being a Christian whenever you want control so hard to think that you could let someone else control your life. I’m in a tough spot right now because I’m on a new medication that helps with my bipolar disorder. The only thing is the side effects, it affects my anxiety a lot right now. I just have to get through the first two weeks. Now I have to face not being able to talk to my therapist right away. I just want immediately release all the time, but I know I don’t get it all the time.

All I can say Hunter is Thank You!!! I have struggled a lot with my serve anxiety and I was always questioning God and thinking I was never good enough. Thinking he messed up when he made me. But when this song came out I was extremely grateful for it. It made me stop and wonder does he really mess up. But he doesn't mess up at all. He makes us for who we are to come out stronger in the end. I am now trying to heal and move on from my anxiety. Even though I may have it still.
