The legendary radiation shield with 100% radiation resistance. The artifact that boost aura damage by 50% and radius by 15%. Plus nuke x2 mirv radiation grenades. Set
There's a artifact that can increase elemental damage and slide damage for shotguns so I'd you're using hellwalker that could be worth a try

I did add the "leave no trace" skill (red, top middle) to it. Combined with a high bullet count shotgun with fast firing it's pretty awesome.(or any gun with multiple bullets per ammo) As long as you hit, you don't have to reload.

I’m using this build with a x8 shock fear monger and an electric slide artifact with 73% shock damage, talk about melting shit. Haunt may as well not even have a shield!

you're wrong about hidden machine... it buffs damage when your not being targeted... FYI you're not being targeted during your ultimate skill so its a big damage buff

Great video! I'm playing as moze for my first playthrough but fl4k will be second. Just feeling like after getting so close to enemies with high rpm guns with moze I'd like to change up the pase with fl4k focusing mainly on the pets and snipers w/hunter tree.

This is a great build overall. The one thing I would suggest in the leveling up process is to get interplanetary stalker and head count sooner rather than later.

I just realized that Head count lowers Cooldown while action skill is active, then it resets soon as it ends so basically there is no point in using fast fire rate weapon during action skill as it still starts back at 45 seconds when action skill ends.
using this build with a jakobs gun that reloads the bullet upon critting... I literally shred bosses in one action skill usage
Yep, any gun with the "call" at the end of it is insanely good!

Get the "One Pump Chump" Jakobs legendary shotty...so ridiculous on Fl4k.
I've been using a real similar build but have maxed out leave no trace, I use the butcher, a hellwalker and a brainstormer, so on action skill it's just a constant stream of bullets with no reload. The butcher and hellwalker just have insane damage potential, even when a couple mayhem modifiers make them weaker, and the brainstormer with a x14 roll just shreds groups because if the chain lightning.
How come you dont go into megavore or the power inside, your about 2 points away from megavore, would it be ideal to make sacrifice 2 points in another tree to complete that? Also how does this build work against bosses, I'm currently level 34

Colton . Zimmerman you can switch out pets anytime no matter what skill tree you use. If you do prefer the skag, I’d recommend the Great Horned Skag since it increases both the player’s damage and gun damage.
Have you tried the Lucian call weapon with this, I think it would be really strong

Flak can be used as a sniper character because there are many snipers that add even more damage to ur critical damage just like we all did with zero if we ran the sniper build

Hidden mechine is pretty damn good even if you are playin solo as the idea is to go hidden therfore you are not being targeted usally the next target is the pet... That means big dmg more then the one you used...

Yes, once you use your action skill you are no longer being targeted so you get the full damage boost from hidden machine.
That's the only thing I'd change about this build
Maybe spec into that at least 2 points if keep everything else he showed though

Hidden machine is good as it includes when you’re invisible
When I used that skill that when you crit it has a chance to reduce the cooldown, I always started with base cooldown rate after I exited fade away

imho, I'd put one less in the blue tree to get the red capstone. Also, LeaveNoTrace is pretty much mandatory because no more reloading during FadeAway is much better than faster reloading. I have a +2 to this in my classmod, meaning 60% chance of getting a bullet back, essentially every 2-pellet COV gun never overheats anymore, and I fire revolvers with 3+ pellets for the entire time of FadeAway.
How did you get this Class Mod?

Pairing this build with a Jacobs weapon is insane!! (they have the ricochet rounds perk, that hits a second enemy, and while in your ability every bullet is a critt, it’s nasty)
Ricochets for days
If you paired this build with the weapon "the duc", then it'd be insane. Its basically a normal Jakobs weapon, with a tiny amount of average damage lowered and basically it shoots sticky bombs. Along with this, instead of ricocheting 1 bullet, it ricochets 2, it's quite a good legendary.
Doesn’t Hidden Machine work if you’re in fade away though? Since you’ll have fade away up quite often, it’s just free damage isn’t it?

Question - 1) Do cooldowns start while the action skill is active? So if I increase duration of action skill has the counter for the next action skill started already? Or do the 45 sec start after action skill ends?
2) On "head count" talent, do the crits during fade away count towards a chance to reduce the next cooldown?

No borderlands doesn’t start the Cooldown till the ability stops

Mark McGehee definitely fun, but not the best for late/end game. My rakk’s do as much damage as 2 bullets now. Just not worth it
Is this still viable as a starter/end game build as looking for a new character as I'm having a really hard time with the 1st one I started, not doing enough dmg and not getting any worth while drops either.
I would recommend going into the Master tree until TVHM.

It was the Rowan's or Lucians call, they both do the same thing but one has higher damage less mag and vice versa
Is persistence hunter even necessary cause you stack way more damage on top of that you can get it back so fast idk

high rate weapons are not good if the magazine count is low. what is the min magazine size you think is best?
Joseph Saeteurn 6 no lower than 6 in my opinion.i currently use queens call with this build allowing me to destroy bosses.

You are ignoring what is for me the best passiv for bossing with Fl4k , " Leave no trace ". With the right mod and the right weapon it basicaly allow you to use à 1 / 2 or 3 bullet magazine weapon ( strongest damage dealers weapons but short use before reloading ) without having to reload while cloaked to down boss in seconds.

Hidden Machine works while fade away is up because enemies cannot target you.
What skin or head is that you have equipped?
For hidden machine, wouldn’t it work very well if the build is to be invisible? I mean nothing is targeting you during those times so that buff would be active plus whatever your crit is
Yes. But honestly he doesnt waste those points elsewhere. Would have to really do the math to see what optomizes damage across the board.
I do agree, but that perk is useful only about half of the time? and the occasional ones when your pet is being targeted.
That’s fair, both of your points. I was just thinking that since the build is about being cloaked and criting for maximum damage, I reckoned that would be a good idea. But yeah, leaving it up to rng like Vian said isn’t too good
@@XxxMINERxFORxLIFExxX there no point not to get the hidden machine at to end game you are invisible 70% of the time. letting that 30% + damage just sit on the table is senseless.
Pretty sure if you were getting the CD for your ability faster, the invis up time should be most of fights, and to kill everything in the fight during the ability. Then to be able to boss melt at endgame

Is there any other reason to use the gunslinger monkey? Even with the 5% crit, wouldn't the base Loyal Skag 5% damage also just be 5%crit also since it's just damage?
Jace ' for what I would imagine, adding gun damage would be like 5% buff to gun dmg while buffing crit by 5% is not the same as gun dmg, it multiplies gun damage. So let’s say crit is a 2x multiplier of gun damage, so if you buff crit by 5%, you actually buff total damage output by 10%

You spoiled it less than a minute in.
I have to disagree with you on hidden machine. You go invisible with your action skill making you automatically having 30% extra damage during that time because you're not being targeted. Even in solo that damage is very apparent and I'm not sure why you wouldn't spec into that.
As well as not using The Power Inside? How are you going to pass on 50% extra damage?! I'm so confused lol. You're legit missing out on a total of 80% EXTRA damage with not speccing into those.

Yeah I still have to disagree. At max level and fighting bosses right now the perks are still beast. We have very similar builds, but on almost all mobs and bosses they still target my pet while I'm invisi. I'm pretty sure there's a little holo square outline on them too when you're not being targeted by them, unless it's from another skill. I'm just running them down. Idk man, test it out. I'm still using the 3 points in Persistence hunter, max out my stalker tree, then the rest into hunter, but I'm also using leave no trace because it basically allows you to not have to reload during that crucial action skill time. Two fang is a beast though.
i played that build and it feels awesome with that legandy weapon. no reload, get every time bullets. so fucking op man. best char for bosses i think
Yup, that weapon compliments it super well.
I find gamma burst tree can cause way more damage in mid to late game, fade away is great single damage but when you have waves coming at you gamma burst is way more reliable plus you become basically unkillable because regan gets pretty ridiculous

The problem I have with critical builds is, outside of his Fade Away ability, I don't get super frequent critical hits to make it fully beneficial. I get them less than half of my shots. I do notice that you can still kill them really easily, but he feels very squishy. I don't know, maybe I just haven't gotten the right guns yet. I know I'm not killer with my aim and cover skill, but I'm decent enough.

I don’t know if someone else has told you somehow but Fade Away is the Stalker tree’s Action Skill and Guerrilla in the Mist is an augmentation of the Fade Away Action Skill. Fade Away gives you 15 seconds to shoot 3 shots that each do 200% instant crit. Guerillas in the Mist decrease the time to 5 seconds but every shot you shoot (not just 3) does 25% instant crit damage. People use this with weapons that shoot multiple pellets or has a stupid amount of fire rate.

Hey mate, I know it's late but guardian ranks past to the next characters. Mayhem is available when you beat the game with a single character.
This build is at its best with the queen calls pistol

Dude Hidden Machine is sick. Things aren't able to target you when you're invisible, meaning you get a ton of free damage when you're in Fade Away, which the whole build is based on. And that's without even mentioning the pet tanking things.

This is a really good video. I agreed with almost every thought process. For sure this is one of the stronger if not the best build for fl4k. I have a question or two when you get time. I would appreciate any form of a response. My first question is can you figure out how the damage buffs are stacked? Is it multiplicative or added on...etc. Second question what are your thoughts on taking off a point persistence hunter to get the capstone? Third question is a personal request. Can you make a Amara build the isn’t revolves around melee. Might be good for your channel since everyone believes she is pure melee build. I’ll be on the look out and I subbed. Thanks

This build is amazing! Thanks a lot. My tanky build sucked the further I got lol. Once I did this the difference was intense and I'm still tanky enough its not an issue. Also fyi I believe WillisGaming ripped you off with this. Seen a few videos of this or very very similar ones all posted after your post. Kind of a shame.
Hmm, fade away doesnt do any damage itself so how does interplanetary stalker help action skill damage with fade away?
Maybe your critical hits during fade away count as action skill damage?
