  • Olifants Rest Camp | Kruger National Park.
We Drove From Malelane Gate To Olifants Rest Camp. One of the most pleasant drives we've ever done, and It's quite long one. But on our journey, Sightings keep us "entertained". And we did a bush walk as well, in Olifants. And topped it off with a visit to the Letaba Elephant Hall (Museum) before heading out the park to spend Christmas with family.

I am German and stayed at Kruger Park in November 2019. It's one of the best memories of my life.

Thank you for sharing your video. What do you think is the best time of year to visit Kruger, North & South, for the best game viewing? Also, we (2 women)and I don't want to do a self-drive, how do we get from one camp to the next? Are there taxis available at most camps and what do they charge? We are planning to book the group tours while based in camp.

Hi Sharon. Firstly, thank you for watching my video and for appreciation in general.
      Secondly, to answer your question:
The best time to visit the Kruger is during the dry season May - October, especially for campers, but with that said, I've had the best sightings outside the dry season. So anytime is perfect in my view, unless you're a camper like I said. And with regards to moving around inside the Park, unfortunately there aren't any taxi services that can assist when moving from camp to camp, the best option is to get a rental. Feel free to ask anymore questions that you might have.

Don't you get very tired after such long drives? We are worried about that

Actually, No. Every animal sighting somehow revives you. It's always exciting

Karabo this is the worst Kruger Video I have ever seen. This is totally unacceptable… I should have been along to help carry the equipment and at least film more of you guys in the shots as well… and at 13:15 I could’ve Braai’d for you while you put your feet up after a tiring day… Jokes aside, fantastic vid and thanks for letting us live vicariously through you guys. Working in Joburg and watching the odd Kruger vid (Especially the lekker ones like yours) helps us make it through the day until the next trip. Definitely have a new subscriber here.

Thank you Russel. Your appreciation motivates me to do even better. There should be a new video in the next 2 weeks
