Thank you Mats, so many good memories cheering you on with my dad.
My favourite Leaf of all time. He carried this team on his back the entire time he was here. A genuine class act and all around great player. Even if the Leafs win a cup in my lifetime it won't be as satisfying as watching Mats lift the cup as a Leaf would have been.
If only he had better support players heh! Would have gone further and finished with more points.
@@mikeyvandee its funny now they have those better players but they can't go anywhere in the playoffs. Because they don't have the heart and soul and leadership that Mats had. And they don't have a Curtis Joseph or Ed Belfour in net.

@@mikeyvandee if only prime Mats Sundin was on the Leafs today. He would have so much talent to play with. And he was a point a game player during the dead puck era. So that means he'd be scoring 100 points a year if he played now scoring is way up.

Leetch past his prime still good, they had a D core that generated offense. Now its looking like Tre has re-established the foundation

He is one of the reasons, I became a Leafs fan.
Him CuJo, Darcy, Tie, Tomas, Bryan and those guys made me a Leafs fan!
Even if the are the reason, I have to suffer that much, because its the Leafs, I will always admire those guys, because to me it all started with them. :)

Sundin was such an amazing player for the leafs for such a long time. I loved wendel but man did we ever fleece the nordiques to get him!!!
