Thank you!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It really was an outstanding hike from start to finish! We work hard to capture the landscape in as true a way as possible, and your kind words mean a lot!
There is a great little Jackson loop route that allows you to avoid the usually crowded Tumble trails that still includes Tumbledown Pond and some beautiful trail and views of the park from Little Jackson above the pond. It's one of my favorite hikes in the region. You begin at the Morgan Road parking area (Morgan Rd. is about 1000 ft. beyond the Mountain View Cemetery on the Byron Rd). From the parking area, hike up the Parker Ridge Trail .3 miles and bear right at the junction on to the Little Jackson trail. Ascend the trail 1.2 miles until you reach the Pond Link Trail junction. You can go either way at this point but I generally like heading to the pond before the summit so I go left on the Pond Link Trail. 1.1 miles later after cresting a ridge, you will begin to see the pond. The trail makes it's way through a few 'campsite' openings (even though camping is forbidden on this mountain). At the 2nd campsite overlooking the pond, look for a heard-path that heads downhill towards the pond shore. Locating the beginning of this trail will be the trickiest part of the hike. Once on the non-official but well traveled path, is is relatively easy to navigate due to adequate flag tape and the worn footpath. You are paralleling the pond over some cool ledge and woodsy terrain as you make your way toward the base of Little Jackson Mountain. There is a trail sign identifying the beginning of the ascent up Little Jackson. I love this section of the trail as you gain elevation quickly the views of Tumbledown Mountain and Pond become outstanding. The trail ends at the summit of Little Jackson where you take the regular marked trail back down to the Parker Ridge Trail and your car.
Your video is absolutely mesmerizing! The landscapes are captured so beautifully. Thanks for sharing these amazing views! 👍2

I was wondering if something like this existed! I'm going to keep your comment for my next trip over and give it a try. It sounds fantastic!!
