…another story: I studied social work, & had an internship at a local hospital, where a client who’d undergone heart surgery…& was recovering, had been a Dr serving in The German Army in WWII; he’d gotten around a Nazi interview (for enlistment in THEIR army; directly AFTER this interview, he promptly enlisted in The German Army. But, the full story’ details are ‘freaky’. This man’s entire medical school class had been interviewed by The Nazi’s looking for MD(s) for their ranks; The actual interview was one-on-one, in which the interviewee sat on a chair centered in a room, with bright lights centered on him; he was told to disrobe, & to turn completely around (apparently, they wanted PERFECT male examples. THIS man “got away by emphasizing his STRONG FAMILY ties to The Lutheran Church, after which The Nazi’s lost interest… he told me that he directly enlisted in The German Army, which kept him away from The Nazi’s…. He survived WWII; later, at an older age, he started experiencing cardiac problems, which is how I encountered this man & his (nurse) wife…They were then traveling to property in South America. (Both were smart & nice…).
