Breakfast Recipe || Missi (Besan) Roti, Mint Achar Chutney (Soo Good)

Missi roti is a famous breakfast of Punjabi homes. It is served with homemade butter and mint pickle sauce which is extremely tasty and mouthwatering. Roti is cooked in several ways which include cooking in wood-fired tandoor or iron skillet on gas in homes. But wood-fired tandoor has way batter taste than any other way of cooking. Butter melts on this roti and gets mixed with mint pickle sauce and gives a great fusion of tastes. Chilled sweet or salted lassi is also served along with this appetizing breakfast which makes it a complete desi package.
Written Ingredients:
Wheat Flour 4cup (550gms)
Gram Flour 1cup (100gms)
Onion Chopped 2 medium
Green Chillies Chopped 4pieces
Green Coriander Leaves 3tbs
Roasted Cumin Seeds 1.5tbs
Carom Seeds 1/4tbs
Salt 1.5tsp
Red Chilli Powder 1tsp
Water as required for soft dough
Chutney:
Green Coriander Leaves handful
Green Mint Leaves handful
Green Chillies 6pcs
Salt 1/2tsp or as per taste
Curd 3 tbs if required
Mix Pickle 1/4cup
Onion 1small
Utensils:
Blender for Chutney

Yes it certainly is mouth watering recipe brings back old memories. I remember my mother use to make them she would take the dough to the tandoor with the basan mixture to have the roti cooked. But your chatni was lajawab I would certainly make it again from 🇬🇧
