Good intro, but it's missing some features that will make it much better. For example, you can erase specific parts in a loop/pattern by holding erase and the pad you want to erase. If you hold it down for the entire pattern it will erase everything, but you can also just erase specific parts. You can also fully customize drum sets/1 shot and synth with any of the sounds and address them to a pad of your choosing. You can also copy the A pattern to B and change it from there in step edit. I had to read the manual to understand all of it, but it's definitely worth it.
I’m a pretty advanced musician and this device has never once worked the way all the tutorials say. I’m talented enough that I’m just gonna buy a drum kit. This is pure garbage
Great For Beats! I sold mine years ago and just got another one. I love playing guitar and writing songs with it. I’m trying to learn more about it because it’s truly amazing. If you really know what you’re doing then you should be able to do something big with it! It’s solid and I love it’s a standalone machine that you can use live. More than worth the price. 💯🎵⭐️

Hey bro, yeah I’m ok dude, no worries! It’s tradition in my wife’s culture to put henna (it’s a temporary and natural coloring used on hands for the majority) on the tip of the mans finger. I left the henna on for too long and it permanently stained the nail, until it grew out eventually. It’s all good now obviously but yeah. All is well 😎 have a good one!

@@dpalaoro you can. You can record 2 4 8 16 etc then you can also record the patterns to build a song or complete backing track. Nice distinct sound...I'm learning how to engineer the mastered sound of this xr20
So if what I tap will be a little offbeat - the machine will quantize it by itself, right? Or do I have to be 100% accurate when trying to tap it all to the metronome?🤔
By default the machine quantizes itself unless you go deep in the setting to turn it off, so no worries even when you’re a bit off, it’ll be on point. God knows I’m glad it works that way 😂

How many bar passes does it allow? Is it just limited to a two bar pass, like what you're doing? Or can I create a 4 or 8 bar pass?
From my knowledge you can make at least up to 16 bars, maybe 32 even. But I’m not sure. I’ll be making a video soon!

Also whenever it starts recording it just starts playing random pads
