I had those in 2-toned! Black in back, brown in front. Soooo funny! I also had the matching top that had the black & brown reversed. I thought i was super styling, lol
Phew---I feel like you worked particularly hard for this haul---between high prices, so many unpriced items, people who couldn't seem to come up with pricing, and a sale location you couldn't find. Your patience was rewarded with the items you managed to buy. Best of luck with everything!
I think those floral pants would be described as palazzo pants with skirt overlay. They look like they could be sold at Free People. Super cute and funky.
Hi Tina. Were those bowls at 1:05 mid century? Maybe Culver? Looks like I saw more mid century glasses next to the set that you picked up. Do you ever buy that type? If not, look them up. They well REALLY well. You finally find a sale with a lot of good vintage items and the prices are "antique mall" prices.
Ridgewood my old stomping grounds. I was born in Valley Hospital. I grew up in Hawthorne one town over. There use to be some really nice shops. Long gone. Very waspy town with some beautiful old homes and uppity attitudes.
So fun!! Love that squishy alien that’s tongue popped out that you picked up and out down. You got some great finds. Love all of the Lenox dishes and those Groovy puzzle skirt pants.
😆😆😂😂😂...those pants! I have the same, different pattern. It's great for summer. You just let your legs hang out...good for leg or hip tattoos. They just go around and tie in the front.
Those vintage lamps you passed by you can get some good money for MSM items. Sell on Facebook marketplace. That’s what I do don’t sell on e bay or other sites to avoid shipping and fees
Ridgewood N.J is know as an upscale area with expensive homes so I'm not surprised at the prices you encountered. all the items you showed were pricey when they were new so I think you got some very good deals.
I made those palazzo pants in 1968! It’s a variation on Simplicity pattern # 8134- the back view of the pattern shows the layout- I believe the class was called intro to Home Ec ( girls only)
I can’t believe you paid 5 bucks for the Longaberger basket! That’s a steal! I believe that is a large serving basket. I have it also and I paid way more than 5 bucks!😆 The pitcher was so cute also! 😍 Thanks for sharing!❤️❤️❤️
When I have my Yard Sale come this August...I am marking it cheap just to get rid of it. I just have way to much to save everything...Last day will be Stuff-A-Bag.
I admire your patience. No prices, people indecisive with no idea how much their own stuff is, making you wait for a price, asking for an offer, then telling you how much they paid for stuff. I'm like "How the hell much is it????" Yikes, I was worn out watching. I was like just run away!!!
Those are Patience Brewster, part of MC. She has the most beautiful things. Rarely, on sale. I bought the mini angel tree one yr after Christmas. But, the following holiday season I paid full price for the 12 angels for the tree. Love them so much.
I command your patience with nearly every place it was " 5 years ago the original price was ..." it is exhausting, glad you got a lady who actually wanted to sell, I mean in the end all the money goes back into a good cause or their pockets, no point in sitting on items for months.Less space spent on storage and less time spent on dusting.
Great video, Tina. You found some awesome stuff for great prices. I love watching your videos, they're so much fun. See you in the next one. Have a blessed evening. 🙏😊❤😊🙏
I spotted the Patience Brewster and was yelling at you buy, buy, buy. They sell though through McKenzie Child. I use to wear Tweed Cologne when I was young
One time after just renting an apartment at a new employment I used my pressure cooker to make pinto beans. Well I was impatient and opened lid to soon a red beans and juice was dripping from the ceiling and running down the walls of the kitchen and dining room. What a mess! I least I didn't get burned.
Some cute pottery @ #1)Delusional doll people#2) pretty dishes, different, good luck when they total stuff up, expensive stuff in Jerseeezz!) 3)cool braided top wicker basket (lid/hooks)place. Little confusing but you did good, take care💠
I am pretty sure the reindeers are made by Patience Brewster part of Mac Kenzie Childs. They are very expensive. All MC items are top quality and beautiful.
You should have checked that bluish greenish square vase, where you picked up the glass bowl with gold trim on it. It might have been a piece of Hager pottery. You should have checked to see how much the Pyrex pot was. Were they Nerf guns on the table, where you picked the toy up that you bought in the house. That was a steal out of that house with the plates and folk art. I said out loud, Tina if you pick that box up with one hand your going to drop it. Stick a magnet to the toe of the Keen boots and see if it sticks, if not they still might be composite and they're worth good money. The Lenox blue tree saucers sells for around $8 a piece. Nice video.
Some people crack me up with pricing at yard sales, I mean do they really think they are going to sell anything??? It's a lot of work, you would think they would price it to sell.
I hate when nothing is priced. Some of those people were asking outrageous prices for their things. It's a yard sale for heaven's sake, not Saks 5th Avenue.!
You can’t blame people viewing past sales on eBay and knowing what items are worth…re-salers are no different than those with yard sales. Why shouldn’t they not get what it’s worth?
@@scooterllm lol, then they should sell on Ebay, you have to know your target audience...yard sales also don't have the reach Online does .. two totally different animals. They want the high prices of eBay, they need to put in all the work. I have a yard sale or go to a flea market... I sell everything for a 1.00 or 2.00... it's not the time to request high prices😊
@@michd5507 so true, however, between eBay fees, postal do you actually get what your asking? No. Not everyone has the luxury of a printer to print eBay labels, or have a PC. They rely on their phones for info.
Wrap around skort not skirt 💚💕💚💕 love watching your videos I’ve scrolled your shop to many items 😝 get tired before I get to far I would love to start doing what you do I’m good at bargaining and have a great eye for treasures
I can't believe they don't mark their items- I would hate to always ask- How much is this!!!!!! The rummages here have all items marked- makes it a lot simpler!!!!!!
And it saves time for both buyer & seller. Buyers don't have to search & chase down sellers to ask the prices. And imagine how many times a seller might give out prices on the same item because it's unmarked.
I'm yelling run Tina run. OMG Gemini woman, I'm one too I can see myself doing these, like you got to buy it and run to the next, because there's always another deal to find. I'm learning so much from you, you pick up such interesting stuff. Hey when I was young ie high school I used to sew for everyone and that fabric is familiar, flower power and Goldie Hawn dancing in them painted and in a cage on laugh in. Really dating myself here. I had a shift dress I think I made in similar fabric. Lol. I don't know if you know how entertaining this was. And yeah, I see that some people didn't know how to act at yard sale seller position. She said all the dolls were so much then you bring one and she wants full retail plus...lol...Tina you are charming. Loved it! Keep filming please. This picked up my whole day.
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and love watching you search for goodies. How do you film while you are rummaging? Often I notice your hands getting fuller and fuller and yet your camera is filming very smoothly. I’m very impressed! Are the sellers aware that you are filming? Have you ever had any negative comments from sellers if they realize you are filming?
The "groovy" pants are wrap pants that can be worn different ways. I dont think I can share a link here but search "DIY wrap pants" and videos come up. Hope you get them back together, man they are confusing eh? lol
Oh my. I am late to the party on those wrap pants. But I know what they are but had never seen them in pants. Just shorts and skirt. My mom actually made them. Google 1980s Diaper Shorts. 🤣 Serious. 🤪
Those Patience Brewster items led me down a rabbit hole of her amazingly fun decor. Now, on my wish list, are her 12 days of Christmas ornaments. Super cute! And…I’m not into that kind of thing! Her items do come up on the Mackenzie Childs website…
They were bonkers. It was like the twilight zone out there! You need a medal for keeping your cool lol Xx
My mom actually blew a chicken threw the kitchen ceiling with her old fashioned pressure cooker i always remember the patched hole above the stove.
just reading thru comments and I laughed out loud!
OMG!
My grandmother gave me a pressure cooker but wouldn’t give me the little valve bc she was scared I’d blow it up, lol!! 😂❤
My mom's blew up too! I've never, ever used one as an adult!😂
He doesn't want to sell,if he sets his prices so high. He is trying to get the original price for his items.
Man, that sale and the people seriously got on my nerves and I wasn't even there!
Right, WTH
I had a pair of those wrap pants, back in the early 90’s…mine were tie-dyed…so comfortable to wear. 👍😊
I had those in 2-toned! Black in back, brown in front. Soooo funny! I also had the matching top that had the black & brown reversed. I thought i was super styling, lol

I remember wearing wrap pants (1970's)! I loved those! They were super cute on!
I remember you wearing them also.. 👀
You found so much great stuff!
The figures, reindeer...🤩
You cracked me up with the 1960s meets 2021 and those pants! 😂🤣😂
Yes, definitely wrap pants, handmade from the 1970's!!! SUPER COOL!!!

Oh I forgot I love the Patience Brewster reindeer. So whimsical and cool. I would have grabbed those, too!
Those figures remind me of James and the Giant Peach characters.

Those wild pants are very popular in the Caribbean.
Those pants are AMAZING!!!
I had a pair of those pants mid to late 80' s they were so comfortable, wrap pants. I also had the wrap dress, late 70's and of course the wrap skirt!
The pants are wrap harem pants and that fabric is fantastic!
they are a groovy wrap pants…ties in front and a separate tie for the back…wearing them out and to go to the washroom was a pain!! LOL 😂🙋🏻♀️🇨🇦
Yes, they remind me of harem pants, which is what we called them in the 80's.
i miss seeing your outside porch.
OMG $10 for Mackenzie Childs?? $10 for the Longaberger?? WOW!!

The lid color is called flame I use to work for them
Have seen those reindeer in a catalog for around $50! Each!
Tina, you and those pants...hysterical!!
The pants are like a wrap around-ish so it's not too hot to wear but "very desirable" during the summer in the tropical areas...

Lenox headquarters was located in Princeton and warehouse in Trenton for USA
I still have my Mom's glasses with zebras etc.
It is so much fun shopping with you. You got great stuff as usual!
I've sold Lori Mitchell before. The bolo to watch for is the birthday dog. Sold mine for $198

Hahaha I can imagine what a mess that was. Glad you didn't get hurt! I could totally see that happening to me if I tried it.
And that’s like the stories I’ve heard about pressure cookers. I didn’t grow up with one sooo they make me nervous
You handled that outrageously priced woman’s sale brilliantly, bravo!
Love that last Lenox - beautiful!

This sounds as if you had a good time! I hear humor and enjoyment as you tell about it. Good!
Those wrapnpants are so groovy. I'm a Tie Dye artist and they would be great to wear at shows.
I wish I had my teenage body back so they would fit me.
DON'T WE ALL???!!!!
Hi Tina. Great vid and great stuff.Keep up the good work.Thx
In addition to the exorbitant prices, there is no sense of urgency. I’d be like, “Let’s go people!” 😂

I love those crazy vintage pants! Would love to surprise my daughter with them! Of you still have them, how much are you asking?
Mia just sold on EBay for 180.00, Ridgewood people have a lot of money and don’t need to sell stuff at a loss.
I just googled MacKenzie Child’s Patience Brewster has one reindeer on sale for $79. Original price $118.
Another fun and groovy day! Lol!!
They are wrap around pants from the 70’
I had a pair in high school …disco era
IM afraid of pressure cookers too
