You don’t need a law for that. Just make HOA’s stop mandating year-round green lawns like the do in so many places and people will finally be able to do what makes sense.
Incorrect. Lawn irrigation is a tiny portion of the water used. Evaporation is the main culprit, accounting for 50% of the water “used” from Lake Travis.
Well, Austin needs to figure out its own water issues without stealing from the rest of Centex, first of all. That ought to be the basis for their strategy of how to water Austin. The rest of us would like to maintain our own water sources without it getting pumped to your cr*p hole.
What a travesty. LCRA is ruining Lake Travis home values, and boat recreation. Not to mention the restaurant bars that have closed down because of low levels. We care more about lake recreation and boat parties ! Stop building homes out here.
Why doesn't Texas build desalination plants and pump water up to Northwest Texas. We are bringing in more people, that means we need more water. 2+2=4. Just do it. Sooner than later.
That's really expensive and would require a lot of energy. pumping water up to northwest Texas will also require a lot of energy. Not saying it can't be done but it would be a big project. Who would pay for it?
People will still go to Lake Travis for recreation and BBQ even when it becomes a mud hole and think nothing is wrong all while never questioning what is going on in our skies. Lockheed Martin and Raytheon are turning off the spigot of rainfall over the Rockies and deliberately drying up lakes, rivers and aquifers. NO ONE NOTICES A THING ..... Sad.
The ocean is full of water 😊 Desalination and pipelines hello 👋 Imagine a city building enough infrastructure and then selling to others to fund the project and sustain its own community. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️ Now, imagine if a few do this ❤
Why not pass a law where we stop watering our lawns ? The amount of water waisted watering our lawns is the problem.

I need that water to run my jet skis! There’s plenty of water at H-E-B!
They are trying to make the California transplants feel at home
A temporary solution to this problem is Beryling toward us as I write.
Subtle very subtle 😊
😂
Alot of big houses on the lake , draw the water directly out of the lake to water their big yards , for free and don't follow watering regulations
Yet we have 6 car washes per street. Stop with all the CARWASHES!

WHAT BS! Lake Travis has been sucked dry ever since the new water processing unit was commissioned!

Lies! All lies!
It can rain for a month straight and LCRA will NEVER give Lake Travis its water.
How's it going? Are ya' thirsty. We'll sell ya' some water. No, well just think about something else.
Here's a tip! Stop your leaking faucets and toilets! Water will be gold one day.

Well…someone would have to PAY or that and, well, it’s Texas.
2+2=4 is peak racism bro

@@codyc8952 Thorium reactor would use up excess thorium from lithium mining and provide water to Texas where millions have run from crazy blue states.
@@georgescott1180 Im Gonna read Into that. Thanks for posting

You got proof of that or is this one of those “trust me bro” things?
Logically, why would they do this? That costs money it doesn't make money. Drought costs money, why would we purposely make a drought
It's scalar physics and lockheed has all the patents
