Having been a caregiver now for over 10 years and a member of a PD support group for several years I believe that Parkinson’s should be redefined like cancer, and that there are many forms of it.

I TOTALLY agree! I actually used that exact example with my husband recently. I told him, this is crazy, its not like they say, you have cancer - and everyone falls into the same bucket. It's, you have breast cancer (not even that, there are so many different types there), or skin cancer, or pancreatic cancer. But there is only 1 PD. But really, there are so many more "segments" of PD. I realize that's the roadblock they face, but it's worth bringing it up and asking the question to people like the Fox Foundation. I'll put that on my list! Thanks!

Jessica 😂 you can't make ppl listen (come in 12 weeks after their diagnosis) we have to want to listen. Mothering is good but not legal for doctors to practice 😊 However that is whyI love this podcast.

I got a major headache when Dr. tried to add Rytery to C/L. Tried it a second time and did the same.

the doc was spot on as always, very good and really enjoyed him giving you time to ask question. my wife is on year 5 and the doctor is suggesting dbs, the abbrieve 951 is the trials he was referring to i think. it sure would of been nice to get his thoughts on the new red laser or red light therapy coming in 2023 with human trials happening right now in canada?

Norton Neuro in Louisville KY has a tissue test, supposedly can tell a patient
(in minutes)whether or not PD is the cause of their issues.
