Contrast fact between and Sikhs and Marathas of that time were quite interesting. Marathas lost Panipat and never recovered after that, before their lose they requested to Ahmed for peace treaty, which Ahmed refused by saying he knows how to fight and doesn't do peace treaties. On the other side Sikhs lost over 35000 (over 90% of then population of Sikhs)of young, old , women, kids in "Vada Ghalughara"(big massacre) . On their least wounded commander had 19 cuts on his body. Very few Sikhs were left but within a year they were ready to challenge Ahmed on his next invasion. Sikhs gave such a hard time that Ahmed sent a peace treaty proposal to Sikhs. Sikhs leaders at the time sent him a reply saying we don't do peace treaty on pile of dead bodies of our Sikh brothers and sisters. We know how to fight and we will decide the out come in the battle field.

Later in late 1759 Abdali conquered Panjab but in late 1761 Sikhs conquered Lahore . 1762 Abdali conquered again. 1764 was a turning point in history of Panjab. Sikhs killed Afghan Governor of Sirhind (Zain Khan Sirhindi ) in January 1764 at Sirhind . In February 1764 , At battle of Chenab , Sikhs defeated Ahmad Shah Abdali and Afghan Army ran away from battlefield along with Ahmad Shah Abdali. Abdali in 1765 came again but with Bilochi Nawab Nasir Khan Nuri but unable to crushed Sikhs. He returned back , Bhangi Misl (Dhillon Jats) conquered Lahore from Hindu Governor of Lahore. In 1767 Abdali came last time against Sikhs but Sikhs defeated his Army Commander Jahan Khan near Amritsar. This time again Abdali was helpless and returned Afghanistan. Sikhs conquered Panjab

Contrast fact between and Sikhs and Marathas of that time were quite interesting. Marathas lost Panipat and never recovered after that, before their lose they requested to Ahmed for peace treaty, which Ahmed refused by saying he knows how to fight and doesn't do peace treaties. On the other side Sikhs lost over 35000 (over 90% of then population of Sikhs)of young, old , women, kids in "Vada Ghalughara"(big massacre) . On their least wounded commander had 19 cuts on his body. Very few Sikhs were left but within a year they were ready to challenge Ahmed on his next invasion. Sikhs gave such a hard time that Ahmed sent a peace treaty proposal to Sikhs. Sikhs leaders at the time sent him a reply saying we don't do peace treaty on pile of dead bodies of our Sikh brothers and sisters. We know how to fight and we will decide the out come in the battle field.

Sikhs killed Afghan Governor of Sirhind (Zain Khan Sirhindi ) in January 1764 at Sirhind . In February 1764 , At battle of Chenab , Sikhs defeated Ahmad Shah Abdali and Afghan Army ran away from battlefield along with Ahmad Shah Abdali. Abdali in 1765 came again but with Bilochi Nawab Nasir Khan Nuri but unable to crushed Sikhs. He returned back , Bhangi Misl (Dhillon Jats) conquered Lahore from Hindu Governor of Lahore. In 1767 Abdali came last time against Sikhs but Sikhs defeated his Army Commander Jahan Khan near Amritsar. This time again Abdali was helpless and returned Afghanistan. Sikhs conquered Panjab

In fact Sikhs have never been the majority religion in Punjab till 1947 (when eastern Punjab was formed), even in the 1941 Census of Combined Punjab, the percentages were 55% Muslim, 30% Hindu and only 15% Sikh.

Baba deep singh ji 18 meel chalkar darbar sahib pohanche aur apna sees guru ramdas ji ke dar par bhent kiya aur haath jodhkar apna sareer tyag diya aur anokhe amar shaheed kehlaye. In sabh cheezo ka zikar abdali ke jarnail tehmas khan ne apni autobiography mein kiya hai 🙏. Jisko maanna hai mane aur jisko nhi manna wo na maane.
