I use jar lids as paint palettes all the time. Love it!!
The best!
This craft hack video was bang on! The lint roller, tape and glitter was awesome, cause you get to re-utilize the glitter on another project, without so much mess. Love tips. : )
Glad you enjoyed
I love these hacks! Like you, I hate to just fill up our landfills. Your channel keeps me using what I have already instead of buying new. It helps the pocketbook too!
Glad you enjoyed
you’re hardly saving anything from landfills in the scheme of things, you saving 5 or 6 jars and a few paper towel rolls isn’t doing anything
Lines of glue is genius 😮❤
We get those laundry pods for our laundry in the large plastic containers. The empty containers make great storage containers for craft supplies. They also make great substitutes for yarn bowls (those fancy bowls for keeping your yarn contained when crocheting or knitting). I just cut a hole in the lid big enough to thread the yarn through, drop the yarn down in the jug, thread yarn through hole, replace lid and I'm good to go. No more worries about the yarn trying to escape, plus it stays clean and dust free (and away from playful pets).
Great tips!!
The tiny paint dots ! Excellent 🎉
Yes! Thank you!
Thanks Deidre! great hacks! Useful too! ❤
You are so welcome!
The packing tape on the fabric is a great idea! I think it would be an added bonus to use it on the backside of the fabric so it could stay on to give it added "strength" for future craft projects. I would also add a very small amount of fabric glue on my finger then run it along the edges to hopefully stop fraying. Lastly, I would use a Sharpie to draw (on the taped side) all the shapes I want to cut out. If you have several flat edges, you can align them to only make one cut for that edge.😉 ❤
That's a great idea!
Some hacks i ready knew but those yugurt cups make it easy to mix small amounts of paint. I save those plastic drink cups to start plants in the spring as they also are like a green house when placed in a sunny window. 😊😊😊
Yep!!
my favorite idea is the gift box from a paper tube!
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching.
Hey, you are the bomb when it comes to up cycling!!
I love the finger nail polish on the thread hack!! And the packing tape on fabric to cut out a shape..brilliant! Can’t even count how many times I re-cut a piece of fabric because it was lopsided or whatever! Thanks for sharing. I’m saving this one and putting it where I can get to it easily. 😊
Glad it was helpful
Great hacks! Just bought a paint palette though. Dang it. I'll have to remember to save my lids. I like the baggie idea.. instead of wasting good paint.
Works well!
Instead of nail polish just press the thread end onto a candle with your thumb and pull it through. Faster and neater. Also, I use a lint roller to clean up thread snips when sewing 😊
Great tip!
All useful! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I also use the lids for standing my glue gun in. Using the lint roller to keep the jar was a new one to me. Your right about using jars to store craft supplies in. I like jar’s because you can see what’s in it. And they come in so many sizes and shapes. Even colored. Thanks for the reminders.
Glad you enjoyed
I love your videos!! The whole upcycling thing is such a beautiful thing.
I totally agree!
Super ideas 🎉
Thank you so much 😊
You are fantastic! I've been making risers and stumbled across your videos. I've tried every one of the paint techniques! They're all great! Thank you so much. And you are so pleasant to listen to.
Glad you enjoyed
I loved the hacks, thank you! 😊I always use hairspray to thread a needle. Dries a bit faster than nail polish.
Great tip!
I will sometimes use a jar lid as a pallette but mostly I just use the paint palletes I have had for years. It is so easy just to wipe out the paint with a rag and then clean them with soap and water.
Sure is
Like all of them.
They were all great! Thanks for sharing & have a wonderful day!🤗💜🌻💕
Thank you! 🤗

Most of these I already do… however, using a ruler to “draw” straight lines with glue? I’d not thought of doing that. Thank you for the reminders!
Works great
Love the ruler hack.
Me too
These were good for beginners. It was good information to build upon and make even better. I'm sure it got the wheels turning on what else can be done in regards to hacks like this. I use book rings from DT to hang my stencils. This way they aren't being damaged by a clamp. I hang them from hooks in my craft room so they are always in view and easy to access. I usually separate them by season or put all of the flower stencils together for instance. You can place them in a Ziploc bag, take a small piece of duct tape and place it on a top corner of the bag, use a hole punch on the piece of bag and duct tape, put the book ring through the hole and hang.
Glad you enjoyed!
Yahhhh, good on you. The toothpick for dots is exactly what I needed for making stars. I was going to flick paint, (could have been a disaster),Greetings from Australia
Glad I could help!
Thanks for these suggestions. 😊
Glad you like them!
Thanks! Some I do but others new to me. Thanks 😊
You are so welcome!
When making beaded jewelry I like to use dental floss for the thread. It's strong and you can find it cheap at the dollar stores. Your suggestion of stiffening thread with nail polish, I found that it does a great enough job of stiffening the thread (or dental floss) that when threading beads I can skip the needle altogether (which comes in handy for those beads with tiny holes).
Great tip!
Love them all.
Glad you enjoyed
love the packing tape with glitter clean up I will give that a try!
You should!
I liked them all!
Thanks
Love them all! Lint roller has so many helpful ideas. Thanks again. Mary
You are so welcome!
Great hacks !

Great ideas thank you
You are so welcome!
2nd times a charm! Sound is working now!
Enjoy!
Of course, you know, you always have cereal box or oatmeal box. You can use that and that's what I use. And I put wrapping paper on and then go back and leave one side white and then do my writing on it makes it nice
Great idea!
Paper roll gift tubes excellent for Christmas cash gifts that double as an ornament.
Yep!!
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
Great hacks 👍🏻
Thanks
I always love to watch actives I find them soon and helpful. Your nail polish on the end of the thread is one that I shall head onto my friend who has really bad arthritis in her fingers but loves to sell and his troubles 30 needles so find it very useful. Thank you very much.
Awesome! Thank you!
👍😊
I am going to add packing tape in my craft room!
Perfect!
I liked the tags hack
Thanks 😊
My decorative scissors are dulling after so much use- any ideas to sharpen them- cut foil? Sandpaper? Green scrubby?? Anyone-_
I like to cut into foil
I would rather use some school glue to stiffen a thread end. No nasty fumes to avoid breathing in, especially by my little fur baby, & DRYS much faster. 11:42 Nov. 9, 2023
When you are all about saving material and upcycling, why are you cutting pieces out of the middle of your fabrics and papers creating more unusable scraps?
From another video of Diedre’s, she actually reuses all of those paper scraps! She makes beautiful paper from it!! 💖💖💖
