- In today's video we put a John Deere tractor against an RC truck, because why not? Then we send the MJX Hypergo SLAYER to the skatepark to find out if it's as tough as it is fast, but more importantly if it's as tough as an MJX. We also continue progress on the NEW Rek RC TEST TRACK, and have a bit of fun!

Dragging the track is a great idea. The Q117 is an RC car and Drone all in one.

JJRC brushless RCs seem to be absolutely awesome. I have the Q130 trophy truck and it never broke until I overheated the motor and it doesn't move anymore. It has taken more abuse than I've ever seen. And the motor wasn't even a breakage, just overuse.
I want that Q130 SCT. I've seen it around on TH-cam and I'm thinking I might review one. Not sure how popular it still is, but I don't care either, I just want it because I want it and I LOVE short course trucks!

And yeah, I love SCTs too. I got the whole Arrma lineup, and started with the Senton after watching your videos about it a while back. They're all awesome!
Love the track... I've been trying to build mine with a small excavator, but it's nearly all dust. 😔

We had a friend with and excavator come over and get us started. But yes having something to drag the surface with is a huge help. It's amazing how well it actually smooths the track.
They look a lot like the UDI 1/12 cars - e.g. UD1202. but cost less? it looks quite different inside tho
can't wait to see the completed track. Looks like you have some nice clay dirt there.
My backyard is sandy, so i've used carpet. But first I used my 1/10 cars to carve out the berms :D
my ocd was kicking in at how much of that pinion wasn't aligned with the spur. you'll get uneven wear, and quicker
@shadyhazza I noticed that too. I fixed it after I finished filming.
We do luckily have nice natural clay with a bit of loose diet on top. We actually still run RC cars on it while constructing the track because they will create their own wear patterns and it helps us understand how they might get along on the finished track as we go.

@@Rek_Rc I know right. The audacity of asking for nearly a grand just because of it having the name MAXX. I love my 2wd rustler but I wouldn't have bought it if it costs $1,000.00 bucks.
@@TheUnknown714 Traxxas does make nice, well built RC cars, but sometimes the prices makes me do a double take because I can't believe my eyes when I see them.

This is the vehicle I saw on Amazon with thousands and thousands of people returning them for some odd reason so they can't be that good
Mine was that good.
We have already seen so many videos of these cars and they're not close to an MJX hyper go sorry try again
