In the UK they are even crushing last years models that haven't been sold, just to make way for this years 'newer models', the car manufacturers are even making the metal bodies thinner so they rust quicker. If you park in the wrong place on the street they tow your car away and get a "Court Order" to crush it, as for scrap yards they are all now crushing plant yards, any vehicle that comes in, after any other 're-cycleable' parts are removed the remains are crushed.

It's NOT A Cheap Hobby By Any Means, And You Pretty Much Need A LIFT In Your Garage To Do Major Reconstruction Work Too...
