Ukrainians are fighting 10:1 odds, they retreat to lure russians in, so they can keep taking them out one after the other. If Ukrainians kept standing in the same spot they would all be dead. Historically Ukrainian Kozaks would often win battles 300 Kozaks VS 7,000 Polish soldiers, etc because they come up with bold and ingenious tactics. The land Russians take are empty fields, or brick rubble. Ukrainian army is preventing Russians from bombing or advancing towards key civilian areas and critical infrastructure. Historically Ukrainian Kozaks would often win battles 300 Kozaks VS 7,000 Polish soldiers, etc because they come up with bold and ingenious tactics. The land Russians take are empty fields, or brick rubble. Ukrainian army is preventing Russians from bombing or advancing towards key civilian areas and critical infrastructure. Its not perfect, its a brutal modern full scale war. Don't compare it to USA high tech special ops with billions of tax dollars fighting a dozen teenager goat herds.....
