I enjoyed listening to Heidsieck's rendition of my favorite Bach partita a lot. He brings out all the hidden melodic lines with his clean articulation--with judicious use of the pedal. The contrasts and nuances are always fresh and welcoming. Immense thanks, Mr. Palika123. :-))))

Heidsieck is execeptional at this Partita. The way he plays the Ouverture is magnificent, so elegant and expressive. And the trills are sublime. His playing is always clear and precise without becoming academic.

They refer you to several online shops where you can buy innumerable of Heidsieck's recordings, including the Händel suites. Shipping from France may be expensive, though, depending on where you live.
Many thanks, Mr Palika, for these Bach uploadings--very nice companions to the Handel suites he plays so magnificently and which I'm still trying to find CDs for. I hope the Japanese or somebody produces new and available CDs of Heidsieck's work with these composers.
I was lucky enough to find a boxed set of all the Handel Suites on vinyl. It was the playing there that made me buy all the Partitas on Cassiopee on LP, too. Don't overlook Heidsieck's fabulous recording of the Faure Nocturnes, either. A turntable is a nice addition to your armoury when you are collecting performances like this which are hard to find on CD.
