This song was originally my favorite off the album, but after listening to the album on repeat I keep finding myself coming back to soulless existence. That song just does something to me. HUGE Behemoth vibes.

Yes! I definitely heard a lot of Dimmu Borgir in this, plus some Trivium, LoG, tonnes. They're the perfect amalgamation of all these sounds

The intro takes me back to immortal with the chants being so similar, almost like a part two. That breakdown at the start sounds like some old born of Osiris and it’s sick

This hits so fucking hard, imagine opening their set with this song … which they do. Drove 5 1/2 hrs up to Baltimore to see them on Monday and gd they were amazing. In other news, Angelmaker was fucking fantastic as well.

Every now and then I'll watch a reaction video to revisit their songs, and to see other people's opinions about them, but the album is truly intense. I'm still not used to it, and this is coming from someone who loves and listens to metal for decades lol.

I just listened to the whole album a few hours ago and it is just masterful. I've never been a huge deathcore fan until recently and this album blew me away. Will's vocals are phenomenal and the instrumentals are extraordinary.

@@monsta2311 actually Shagrath states in a couple interviews that Devil Doll from Italy is his main influence for his vocals and that he adopted that voice from and a couple other techniques for vocals.

One interesting thing about this album is, if you listen to this album on repeat, the outro of “In a Sea of Fire” transitions very nicely back into “Welcome Back, O, Sleeping Dreamer”.
Their early work didn’t white vibe with me, but when Will joined, I think they really came into their own. Commercially and artistically. The whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really gives it a cut above the rest. 👌🏻❤️💀
