fashion like this isn't made to be worn just wherever, it's an art piece to be displayed on a model. and also for celebrities to flaunt their cash at galas I guess

hmm, i mean history does repeat itself but this was a long time dream come true for Demna Gvasalia, a simpsons fan since his childhood in the soviet union. i think people are so used to uniformed memories and ideals of theirs that when something new and unexpected happens pop culturally it just goes over their heads. no one would ever think we’d see this- i’m glad we live in a world of creative freedom (to an extent) that would allow the most famous cartoon to wear what real life models sit in castings for an opportunity to wear
