There are 4 City Waldorf buildings. I stayed at Bree( first year) and Sauer(Second year). I personally liked Sauer as well. It's very convenient, transport wise. Closer to Ghandi square, where there are food outlets/ restaurants, salons. I agree, the res transport is great.
Sauer one is even cleaner compared to the other ones

Also at all Richmond residences you have to pay for electricity and laundry tokens. It's nice and well kept but ridiculously expensive.
It is unreasonable for students to pay for their Wi-Fi while they are paying some expensive rent.

Edit: Saratoga has transport, just that you have to pay for it monthly on top of the rent, goest to UJ apk via Wits so yeah there's transport but students rather opt for the campus bus and witsies opt for Reavaya

@@Precious_Takie 😂😂😂😂hawuuu they are required to have buses for students who attend more than 5kms (if not mistaken) far from campus. It's either exploitation or the residence was made for DFC students

I wanted to include prices but realised that they always change every now and then and it also depends on whether it’s a bachelor sharing, 2 sharing, 3 or more . When i do a part 2, I’ll definitely include the prices.
With off campus residences, as long as you are a student, you can stay in the residence, it doesn’t matter if you are doing undergrad or postgrad.
With couples, I really don’t know

It depends on the student accommodation you are going to, good quality student accommodations usually need top ups but student accommodations in brixton, don't necessarily need a top up

In Saratoga Village there’s 10K that needs to be paid before check in which includes deposit and admin fee. Is that covered by NSFAS??

If you’re an Nsfas student you do not have to pay the 10k
And I’d advise you to call them so that they can clear things for u coz paying deposits also depend on the kind of the room you’ll be occupying, a sharing, premium or whatever your choice is

Yes, they don't. But as I have mentioned, uj have buses that transport students to all the four campuses in circulations all day long

Applications for 2021 are opened for some residences.. You can literally just google application for the residence you want, maybe something will pop up
