- I did not film this video, I just wanted to share one of Sondheim's most underrated songs with an exceptional cast. If the copyright owners would like this taken down I will.
One of the most underrated songs. The raw emotion in it is sooooooo good. You feel disgusted because you find yourself feeling somewhat sympathetic to these terrible people and relate with their feelings of isolation. Love it.
I don't feel disgusted relating to their feelings....they just chose a destructive way to deal with it, but the feelings are valid (I'm rehearsing Moore right now for a production of Assassins)

Through the whole production you feel for these guys/gals. You almost understand why they did what they did.
Isn't that kind of the point of the whole show? Have a look at their motivations, feelings, emotions and how the one leads, can lead to the other ?

I saw him in RENT in LA in late 90s, and then in Sweeney Todd a few years later. His voice and presence are amazing. It’s too bad he’s not done more musicals since then.

I think it sounds more like the actors are struggling to keep up with the music, anyways it's a difference between stage and cast album.
