I love ARK to death. I have over 12,000 hours played on official servers (ps4).
Wildcard and snail games need to go into liquidation aka broke ASAP. They never have and never will show any love or respect for their community. In other words, they don't deserve us.

good stuff as always kona it will be interesting to see what happens after all of this. i think at a minimum they won't be able to pull these moves on Asa. I don't ever think its too late for change. This has been the most aware and mad the community has been at Tea even compared to 2018. and now their stock is public so it hurts them more having all this evidence exposing them and coming up in google searches hits them hard.

Snail Games has a history of creating half finished games, doing a cash grab for early access, and then abandoning the game. Just look at Dark and Light. They might be doing the same for ASA, except it is worse because they have a community they will force into ASA by shutting down the regular servers.

its extra sad when you really think about it. this is most likely how are game ends. and even if it doesn't, the game will die or never be the same. all i wish is that the memories of our glory days and fun times messing around with our tribes are NEVER FORGOTTEN.
im calling it now, ark survival ascended is going to be more broken then evolved was and i can see the server issues now, im really really cautiously optimistic about ascended, 3 months before launch without a trailer is BAD. this whole wildcard and snail games thing has something fishy going on below the surface

The way I see the community can act, it’s via suing wildcards and snail games, need to check the sales terms of ark. Even though I’m sure they made sure they’re protected I still think we can crack it and find ways to report them to the mentioned organizations and to other ones too. I think it will be highly efficient if many TH-camrs suggest and indicate how and where to report the abuse towards the customers, if few big TH-camrs do so a lot of complains will be sent and subsequently we’ll get an response and maybe even some investigations.

I actually mentioned starting a class action against them for the cheaters running rampant without enforcement when we were battling major cheat users for months. We provided tons and tons of video evidence(aimbotting, meshing, speed hacks,etc) as a very large tribe on the EU crossplay cluster. We were ignored, they refused to even give us proper responses. We had some guys demonstrating the exploits on single player for them, and even sent them secret TH-cam links from the cheat engine developer where he demonstrated the exploits and gave the instructions for use. WC devs would only give blanket response and do absolutely nothing about anything. After that we flooded their forum and discord with the videos and links to evidence. All the links and videos were almost immediately removed, some of us were banned from the forum and discord. I was actually banned from the forum just for mentioning tue class action lawsuit for the developer’s gross negligence and failure to take action.
I came here wondering if they ever addressed the whole Age of Wushu trouble to find that they just set their claws elsewhere

Snail games is a literal fucking plague on the gaming community with no respect for any of the players or games. They have one desire and that is to cash grab and abandon the game until the next grab. No company should work with them and let them tank. They add no value except games that have amazing potential that fail not because the game was bad but the developers failed the game. The second you see snail games on a title it's dead on arrival. Too many good games have been destroyed by this predatory company
People should boot the hell out of the servers where tea is playing on. See if they like it when it happens to them! Fry their routers and get their “precious” possessions lost!

I think that this is not so much wildcards fault. Yea they banned players but they did that because SnailGames CEO would probably fire them. It's probably the same with ARK asended, wild card wanted it to be free, but when Snail Games saw that, they changed that. It's honestly sad to see one of the best games ever made to be torn a part by SnailGames.
@@donaldb.9995 Snail Games bought Wildcard 2 or 3 months after ARKs release, they were small company that needed money to stay alive enough to keep the ARK alive. They didn't know how much of a manchild CEO of SnailGames was, and because he is so delusional he would fire all of them if they even said something. Put your self in their position, you wouldn't want to loose your job, I mean I get your point but they arent going to risk their jobs because of that.

@@baconrastas I dunno, but apparently thats what some wildcard employees said, so clearly they have some ability to resist snail games attempts. Apparently snail games wanted to include microtransactions into ark 1 as well as pay-to-win mechanics like offline protection and also monetized skins and wildcard refused to add them. So its weird they could resist attempts to add microtransactions to ark yet they can't even give a discount on ASA for people who already have ark 1
@@HydragonofDeath they're not going to give a discount when if you look at the fact that as of November or December last year snail games started actually trading shares, reeks of a company losing money and needing to find investment, ASA will be a completely unfinished product and it's being pumped out as an absolute cash grab (so basically paid DLC anyway) only difference is they're going to stop support of official servers and hope to force you to need it.
What tribe was TEA known as on Ps4? Was on main offi from 2017-2020 never met tea (unless they had kanji for names and we didn't know)
Snail Games' history is basically cash grab game/early access, followed by abandonment of the game. I'm pretty sure that is what they'll do with Ark and Atlas. Neither game is fun for me after the years of cheating I've seen without any fixes. Either support this behavior with purchases or don't.
Wildcard dont care about Community

@@_Ryano No you are wrong. I've played ARK since the Beta, it took them 3years to hear anything we had to say. Wildcard did a massive turn around very late into the game. Do you know how many ppl lost their characters on official servers and had to raid their own bases?????? THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of ppl.
We lost millions of players because Wildcard didn't give a dam. We lost ALL of the girls who used to play official because of Wildcard and the LOVE they have for the game and its community
It doesn't matter if Wildcard cares or not. Nobody there is doing anything against Snail Games, nobody speaking up, nobody is leaving the company. Maybe they can, maybe they can't. Doesn't matter. At the end of the day Wildcard is still complicit with Snail Games.

Might get in contact with the CMA to see if is anything that can be done.as I have 16000 hours in game on Xbox,and as it stands once ASE servers are shut down at end of September I will sadly not be bothering with ASA
I'm still pissed at them about PixArk's abandonment. While it was never going to be Ark good, it's a fun game that's sadly broken.

Sadly nothing will change no matter how many people make videos about this and exposing them.
The only way we're going to beat this is to vote with your wallet. DON'T purchase ASA or pre-purchase Ark 2 until Studio Wildcard and Snail Games address the issue and clean up their act.
I have just shy of 34,000 hours in ASE, but I won't be purchasing ASA or Ark 2 until this is resolved satisfactorily.

I'm not sure how people are hoping to have any impact. The conquest servers are admin'd by Snail. It's just a private cluster and they are abusing their admin priviliges like unnunofficial bad admin would really. And if the admin condones cheats then it doesn't matter either...
Complaining to authorities (FCC/whatever was mentioned) is useless as the game works. You don't need to play on crap servers.
Only hate Wildcard for how badly they made Ark, not for TEA's actions.

i hate to have to keep pointing this out but wildcard is part of the problem. they are not innocent by any means. They may not be as bad as snail, and they may be in a shitty situation, but theyve done plenty over the years such as allow cheaters and hackers to run free everywhere and anywhere with little consequence. And 99.99% of situations have nothing to do with tea or snail games. And if you dont believe me go talk to some tribes on xbox small tribes. Or anywhere really, arkpoc, pc small tribes, i just think xbox smalls is the worst and most blatant, every large tribe cheats. Blatantly.

What i find pathetic...is the fact that cheating in a game like ark removes ALL fun...especially when you just saveload (reboot servers) whenever you start to lose. Theres nothing fun about it? Its atiny corner of a tiny game in a big planet...just grow up xD
