I tend to avoid the 360 and 4k just to manage my file sizes a bit better and I aim to keep it simple to make life easier. Great vid man! Nice breakdown!
Great comparison. I ran with the GoPros for a while but ditched them this year. Just using the Insta One X2. When I want to record a ride I just hit the insta on and let it go. Less weight on the helmet. I use a cardio for music. I can do audio I just use a voice recorder in my phone. For a planned vlog, I have a separate mic and recording device. Seems to be working out ok. Focus more on riding than worrying about is this on. Ride Safe!
@@WarPaintCustom it's my go to route. It's nice and windy, beautiful scenery, and the closest route to where I live. Takes me about an hour round trip.
Nice video. I been looking at getting the Insta 360 one X2. Thanks for the info. I don't have a big hard drive on my computer, might have to upgrade that. lol.
i think it really depends on your goals. you did touch on a lot of the downsides with the insta360 camera. I have 360oneR and i edit in adobe premiere. I dont shoot in 4k either because final output for me is still good at 1024. i chose the 360oneR over gopro for a number of reasons but mainly the ability to change lenses to another format is what sold me. i do frame all of my shots in their proprietary software, but, i do it from my ipad which is much more intuitive than doing it on the computer. I also have the plugin for premiere and i could frame inside of premiere but doing it on a mobile device is a lot easier.
Perfect timing since I was seriously looking at the Insta 360.

Thank you!
Real good Pro / Con video man!! You covered a lot of different points! I might look into a 360 Cam in the future!
Thank you! They're fun but do have a learning curve.

Happy to help! Thanks for the positive feedback! 🙏🙏

Thanks! It all depends on what resolution you want to capture. 1080p is usually enough to make some great content if space is an issue.

Thank you for giving a perspective on editing in adobe! It does seem to be more intuitive and easier to manage with the right software.
@@Valorcycle try framing your shots in their app from a tablet. its much easier
@@MykeAfex i'll give that a shot!
Seems like we have to subscribe now. 😁 Keep it up like this !🙏
