Do not subtract the background as the area under the curve for peaks (having information about structure, atom type etc.) is destroyed. Instead just use the button "Accept"

Save the xpert highscore file in ASCII format. From there you can get they x and y values.

Hi sir, I try to open an xrd file but I could not do that that's why I want to know which data could be open with X'Pert HighScore thank you
copy the xrd counts and intensity values in a word document. save the file with extension .ASC like nina.ASC , right klick on the file, select open with xpert high score

No, it should be converted to compatible format.
How do I synchronize the database to the program?

Paola, you should pay attention to what version of the HighScore do you have in order to determine which database should you use. Here you would find open Crystallography Database in which you have to look for a database suitable to your program version. If you have 4.0+ version you may use the database from July 2016, but for a previous 3.0.5 (also known as 3.0e) you will have to use the database from October 2014. In each release you will find a ReadMe file with further details. Regards.
